Just popped in this morning for coffee and cake with my son and felt i had to make a on your site. The coffee and cake were excellent but we were really impressed with the service. A young lad served us and must admit his customer communication skills were exceptional it was nice to see a youngster with some banter. Well done son.

Went to this lovely little cafe for breakfast. Ordered food and drinks which took a very long time to arrive. When the food did arrive it was overcooked and very dry. Coffee was very good though ! Very disappointing to see card only in place for payment. Very disappointing ?

Can't rate the food(which did look lush to be fair) as I only went in for a coffee which took ages, told me to stand next to the bar which I did and had to keep moving for people to get passed and to get the menus hanging on the bar which is a stupid place to put them as thats where you wait. I went to get my drink and they'd made it wrong, how hard can a takeaway coffee be really and for nearly a fiver is actually mental! And the second drink they'd also made wrong because I asked for sugar in, there was none. How can getting a takeaway coffee go that wrong?! The food looked lovely but I wouldn't want to chance it if they can mess up that bad on a takeaway drink!

I called in to a very busy Dil & Bear in Tynemouth today and I am just the luckiest person to have had a piece of their Gluten Free Clementine sponge cake at home. It was the most moist delicious Gluten free cake I have ever ever had! Thank you for making my day ? . Great service too. Thank you ?

Nice coffees and the breakfast sandwiches were okay. It was super cramped inside though which made it quite uncomfortable to eat as people were constantly squeezing past you.

First time I?ve been here today. Can honestly say that it was one of the nicest sandwiches I?ve ever had. Place was packed and service was still good. Looking forward to my next visit!

Nice little place we only had coffee which was not quite to my taste I had a black coffee that was not very strong at all, I understand everyones taste is different and this was just my appinion.

Small cafe, food was okay but did not come as described on the menu so disappointing. Edible but very acidic. Pleasant atmosphere although very small but cosy!
