Needs clean up seats stained dirty place drab not what you expect from costa

We only came for work reasons. I ordered a Decaf Soy Chai Latte, nothing too hard to do. My colleague got his drink first (just a latte) The guy making the coffee obviously needs to PAY more attention, he was going to make my coffee with Cows milk WTH, I confronted him and he realised his mistake and made it with Soy milk. Guys, pay more ATTENTION ??

Tables not cleared. No conversation with customers.

Excellent place, the staff are so friendly and great with children. We popped in just as they were getting ready to close and unlike some places they welcomed us with a smile and were very helpful. Very comfortable and friendly place to unwind with a delicious drink or bite to eat.

My wife went inside while I sat at a table outside, I'm 72 and was exhausted after walking up from our boat in the marina.( we had just arrived that morning) After being sat outside for almost 40 minutes I was cold and decided to sit inside and see why it was taking so long. It was obvious they were quite busty but instead of appologising and saying that , ( which i would have accepted) the young girl behind the counter was quite rude asking me if I expected table service outside not realising my wife had been in the que all this time ,she totally denied that I had been waiting so long, or even at all, placed my coffee on the counter and said " have a nice day" ( i was until I met her) she took the meaning of condecending to a new level, So unprofessional ,centainly not front of house material ..Requires more training. Almost spoilt our entire day.

Only drawback for this costa is there isn't really much in terms of seating and they don't have individual toilets. Your restricted to the toilets next door which quite often aren't in the best condition.Service is always with a smile and staff are friendly enough however. Food & drink is costa standard.Wheelchair accessibility: One door in and out on ground level with no stairs. About as wheelchair accessible as it comes. Space is sometimes tight inside however.
