A lovely store inside the shopping centre, as always the staff are polite and friendly. The tasters are always nice to try and I always enjoy their tea and hot chocolate.

Very rude manager!!!!! Wouldn?t let us try FREE samples. Not good advertising for the brand which I have previously had good experience with. We were pressured out of the shop as the manager assumed since we were going to try a FREE sample that we didn?t want to buy anything. Rude. Ignorant. An expensive mistake? Never again. Never again. Never again will I shop at Whittards especially not this branch. Me and my were left shaken, overwhelmed and flabbergasted at the level of rudeness we encountered as PAYING customers looking to try a FREE sample. Never again?

I recently visited this store with friends, but sadly, we won?t be returning due to an unpleasant encounter with one of the staff members. A short man with grey hair, a ginger beard, and a waistcoat was extremely rude to us. When we politely asked about the free samples, he refused and responded in a very disrespectful manner, making us feel extremely unwelcome.
It was a disappointing experience, especially as we had been looking forward to shopping here. Such behaviour from staff towards young customers is unacceptable.

Lovely customer service, was taken care of very well I was offered excellent taters and was even offered to try a product not on sample. The smart gentleman helped me find everything I needed to! Lovely shop

Went to this store earlier today with the intention to buy a gift for a family member but most of the items were too expensive so I thought I would leave. While this was happening I heard a member of staff wearing a waist coat shouting at a group of girls for only coming to the store for the free samples. Firstly, why have samples in the store if you aren't going to allow people to try them. Secondly, why is a member of staff acting so rudely towards potential customers. I will certainly not be returning to this shop and I advise you all to do the same.

disgraceful experience. my Friends and I went in to try a sample, and maybe purchase something and we were met by this horrible man with glasses and a waistcoat, who I believe, goes by the name, Lou. as me and my friends approach the sample he quickly lept to block the way and put the sign on saying the sample wasnt ready except i believe it was as he removed it after he kicked us out. he was very rude to say the least, my friends and I were left shaken thus I do not believe he is suitable for a customer service role as this was truly horrible.

old man with glasses shouted at my friend for trying a tester. if you want to work in retail you need better manners than that. love the products however i do not feel comfortable coming back now

today, I went into the store with my friends to taste some samples as we have previously done to test some teas for purchase online or for a gift for my mother. we then got interrupted by a quite rude worker saying "do you actually plan on buying something or are you just going to sample things". then proceeded to high five his coworker when we left laughing. this has honestly turned us away from this store due to the degrading tone and lost us as customers and some others that I have seen with my own eyes.if you don't want people to test samples to see if they like something then just don't have samples out.
