Pleasant enough cinema but very expensive relative to other cinemas, the screen was small and the room was very cold!

Good. Small cafe, lots of places to go for food and drinks very close.

Hey good place to go prices aren?t the deal buster they used to be but that?s just like everywhere else hope it?s around for a long time to come. I also have a question : David lynch died yesterday and I was wondering if you guys were going to do anything showcasing his movies due to this, as you usually show them sometimes. know you probably have a plan for seasons in the year but was just wondering. Take care (: .

?Great? place to see dull and very predictable right-on films. Bar downstairs is abysmal.
The sooner this place closes forever, the better.

Used to be my favourite cinema in Newcastle. The price of the ticket has gone up four times in the last 12/18 months, it's nearly 14£, as if we were in London, and 2.50£ of online booking fee, ridiculous. They do a 6£ Monday but it's just one or two film, not any. So not my favourite cinema anymore, in fact bottom of the list now. I only go when I can use Mubi Go. A real shame for a venue that should promote independent cinema, making it accessible.

Not a proper cinema. Screen was very small. Couldn't see/hear properly and didnt enjoy at all reply** we were sitting right at the back. The sound was only at the front and the movie didnt fill up the whole screen! Whats the point. Cant call it a cinema

Great cinema but overpriced bar with miserable staff

I had a vegan burger with fries. The vegan burger was disgusting and it was cold when served. I won't be going back to the Tyneside cinema cafe

Great local cinema with an excellent selection of movies ranging from new releases, independent films and classics. Also showing select films in 35mm. Come here regularly as a student at Newcastle and tickets are discounted for under-25s with a free Young Tyneside membership. Staff always welcoming. Overall a great independent cinema and the best in Newcastle!

We love coming here. Comfy seats, no heads in view, good screen, (very!) loud and clear sound, decent range of drinks and snacks. Great bar at the front too.
