I?ve been on and off to the Tyneside for a few years and it has been progressively getting worse.. the cinema experience is great but my word the cafe staff are so inattentive and dismissive.. for saying on the weekend they are over staffed by a long shot it?s baffling really. I suppose these aspects would be worth overlooking if the atmosphere or food were great but both are average at best. The menu is laughable at times when even a limited menu isn?t fully available. All for independent business but there needs to be much more done in terms of good customer service

Popped in here before seeing a show at the theatre royal, got some loaded chips and pint lovely staff, great atmosphere too. Perfect for a quick drink

My favourite place for coffee in Newcastle and always lovely staff with good banter but called in today and both the 2 young girls were nothing short of miserable and so bloody slow.
Just couldn't be bothered....come on guys, sort your staff out!

Called in for a light lunch and coffee, got to say it was perfect for what we wanted. The wife had Cajun burger and I had calamari both with fries. Food did not take long and was served by a happy friendly waitress. We will call in again for sure. Although parking is difficult nearby it has many bus stops outside.

Nice little cafe attached to the cinema. Very yummy mocha, scone was a little dry but this is the nature of a scone and what you should expect if you order such a thing. My friend Jess had the following to contribute: ?V quick service lovely food 10/10?

Great place sadly however complimenting staff and in my case commenting innocently on hair has resulted in being told by staff member that seems in their opinion I treat staff badly thus speaking to me while on duty is not in job their description, which sadly means ordering food and drinks then becomes a problemVegetarian options: Several options for Vegetarians on menuDietary restrictions: Staff and kitchen will gladly accommodate if possibleWheelchair accessibility: Full disabled toilet on site all on one level

Went in for some lunch before our annual trip to see its a wonderful life. Absolutely brilliant staff , our waitress laura was excellent and so polite and food was delicious. Very reasonably priced too.

Overall just ok, no hot food before 12 ( apart from soup ) menu choice limited and a little expensive. Service was good.

Can?t remember her name but the long haired lady was so sweet! Can?t thank her enough, very thoughtful and caring when we visited earlier on. 10/10 service from her
