I've lived in Newcastle for over a year now, and never once has this branch ever picked up the phone when I've needed to resolve bank issues. They just forward calls to the machine and claim they are busy. But I highly doubt that is the case when I've tried calling ten times in a day with ten minute windows between each call.

Not a branch I would recommend, tried to make a withdrawal and was being treated like a criminal question after question what the money was for and even once explained the manager did checks to confirm, I wasn't asking for a bank loan just my own money and was being restricted access which is a criminal offence by the bank. I repeat not a bank I would recommend and I only gave one star so my experience could be posted otherwise it's a zero

I had to make a simple transfer of money from my account to an Italian one because my app has been having problems for months, I asked one of the two girls at the counter, the first one told me to wait (which the other time I had done in 5 minutes ) made me wait half an hour and at that point I was already late for work, I decided to queue again and ask the other girl, Danielle, who solved the problem for me in 3 minutes (the other time it was she who helped me ). they should all be like Danielle, fast and effective and also kind. Because of the other girl I was 20 minutes late for work. next time I just want to go to Danielle, the only one in this bank who knows how to do her job. 5 stars to Danielle

After 3 days of Tring to contact my so called local branch 40/50 minutes each time and getting someone that doesn't understand me I'm giving up TSB for good. Going to a new bank. Had enough.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Poor customer service, if you are in a queue waiting to be served you are asked what you want you and normally directed to self service. I've left TSB after starting with a junior chequing account and moving to adult account. Poor customer service and hardly any friendly staff appart from a few woman in branch. Everytime you try to do anything over the counter you are advised it can be done on machine or online.

Only one member of staff on counter. Long wait. Large queue in front. You would think that a busy bank would have more than one counter staff. I felt sorry for the staff member as queue kept getting bigger

It?s good to see investment to create bank branches fit for the future. It?s spacious, modern and adequately staffed. A pleasant place to be and usually very efficient.
