I mean a travel lodge is a travel lodge but the blonde girl with the glasses who was on reception 1/2/24 was really nice and really helpful (management give her a pat on the back)

Usual high standard for our second visit. Room facilities and cleanliness were as good as ever, as were local amenities. staff and overall service. Value for money an important plus point, too. Location a bonus either for visiting Newcastle or if breaking a journey using A1.

The bedding had dirty stains marks on them, the bathroom smelt musty and it was noisy inside and outside the hotel. On arrival the receptionist was very plesant and helpful. Would not stay at this hotel again

Friendly and professional staff. Clean and functional rooms with good quality bedding and mattress. The shower could have done with a bit more flow and heat but I had a good nights sleep. Good value for £52 for two people.

Very impressed with this Travelodge. This was our first stay in this particular lodge. Nice to have a walk in shower rather than one in a bath. The young lady on reception was very helpful and rearranged our rooms so we had my wife's elderly mother very close to us. Large carpark right outside the lodge. Pub on site which looked fine but food prices a bit on the steep side. Will certainly consider this lodge when next in Newcastle.Rooms: Spacious room, walk in shower in bathroom. Usual fantastic pressure for morning shower.

Staff were very polite and helpful. Room was very clean. Plenty of carpark spaces.
