It is what it is for a budget hotel close to the airport. It was clean, the bed was comfy and the service was great.Good places to eat within walking distance and even more 10 mins down the road. Great place to stay before an early flight.

We have stay in travels lodges for a long time the last time was last year which was our first trip after covid in Newcastle city centre and the rooms were shocking see my review but thought we would try them again but had to book premier inn at the Airport so we could collect or rental card the next morning bearing in mind is was only a few pounds more the room was excellent model clean. anyway we pick up our car and then found teh travel not next to the Airport but 4 miles away? so when we arrived as disabled person i asked for a double bed and disabled room but we had 2 single beds and teh disabled bathroom didn't have shower just a bath i had to get help in to get a shower over the bath which is shocking for a disabled room teh room was a disgrace old shabby to be kind and even mould on the walls if it wasn't for Dylan at teh hotel we were really just to leave he helped use out a lot but will over priced for the state of the rooms and we will never use a travel lode again as you get a better room and teh same price else were like the premier inn same money 100% better roomsRooms: these rooms in the Travelodge are a disgrace after speaking to staff openly find out then there do not stay in them when away this was are second try as stayed in the Travelodge Newcastle Central this was teh same and will never book a travelodge again and removed the app just see all the review they have had.

comfortable bed reasionable bedroom great staff wardrobe could have been better placed instead of in the door way leaving not much room to pass and door stops was useless back of bathroom door was marked friendly and approachable staff toby carvery in an ideal place for a cheep and decent breakfast could have been better sign posted from the motorway wasnt easy to find free parking on sight nice quiet location not far to walk to all local shops and shopping fecilotys I would stay here again business or leasure

Very clean room. Furniture a bit outdated. Have to call a number for a member of staff to come and check you in. Having a toby a few steps away is a real bonus.Rooms: Very clean.

Friendly welcome good service any time of day or night staffs always go out of way to helpWouldn't go anywhere else near airport local shops metro station .Manager is always about plays a big part in house keeping if needed

Been one of the worst hotels I have been in 2inch screws sticking out in the back of the toilet door door stopper right at the bath stood on it a few times coming out the shower tbh remote doesn?t work the tvRooms: Tbh tv remote doesn?t work the tv 2? screws stuck in the toilet door door stopper at the edge off the bath stood on it a few times getting out the shower also can?t get a cooked breakfast it?s a pack lunch pack Wi-Fi free for 30 mins then £3 for 24 hours

Great hotel, very friendly reception, large clean room and came with a bathtub that I was very happy about after being soaked by monsoon after gnr! 10 mins walk to Kingston park metro which goes straight to hay market! Would definitely stay here again! Also has Toby carvery next door which did a good breakfast

Excellent stay . Staff went above and beyond . Manager greeted us with a cold bottle on a roasting hot day on arrival . Rooms spotless . 1st class customer service which is rare from Travelodge , can?t fault the place .

The staff were very friendly and extremely welcoming. The hotel was in a great location for getting the Metro into town. It was easy to get to the hotel by car and parking was available with a large extra car park on the premises that can be used.

Alison was so polite and helpful apart for the room a big 3? screw in bathroom door door stopper too close to bath key on standing on it also the tv remote doesn?t change channel but it turns it on and off
