The staff loved our dog, they did try and give him a biscuit but he didn't partake. I felt very safe here and not judged at all for the way I was dressed, which is always appreciated. we got a couple of expansions which we were well chuffed with.

when i heard this place existed i went to check it out the very next day. unfortunately they didn't have what i was looking for at the time bht theg might've just been sold out since i was late to the release. however, it was nice to know this is where i can go the next time i'm trying to get my hands on whatever new collectible card games, figurines, manga, comics, kits, and the likes.

Amazing store when you just want to stone a new comic/manga to read and seeing what catches your eye. Staff are all round amazing always willing to help with recommendations, queries (making sense what order to read stuff chronologically and what other series tie in) and ordering in anything they don?t already have in stock. Every single member of staff seems knowledgeable and easily approachable giving the store such a relaxed atmosphere.

Always visit Travelling Man when in Newcastle. Brilliant shop and brilliant staff. Little disappointing recently as pokemon has been harder to get hold of but not the fault of the shop. I'm always glad to see the place busy especially on a weekend. Hopefully stock levels will improve for pokemon in the next few months.

I stumbled across the store on my way from the train station to my hotel, before googling the local game stores.
Inside is a beautiful, semi-chaotic array of games, books, dice, and other accessories (the sort of chaos which shows that they want to get the most up there, and there is an order but it's overcome by joy and inspiration).
I got a couple of sets of dice, a new game to share with my wife and friends as we travelled (Arboretum), and a game for my daughter's birthday (in September!). Sadly I wasn't allowed to buy Wyrmspan, given luggage constraints ... :'(

I've recently started collecting pokémon cards and the staff here have been nothing short of excellent in helping me get set up. Whether it be buying sleeves, binders, or the cards themselves, they've helped me a tremendous amount and it is greatly appreciated.
I have also set up a membership card with them to save money in the future.
