Lovely food good service but £8.50 for a large glass of wine wow OTT pure extortion! along with Coke prices spoils night out.

The Pavilion is the place where locals come together to catch up and enjoy a drink. For many of us, it?s our go-to spot, and we?ve spent a significant amount of time and money here over the years. However, it?s becoming harder to overlook the state of the place?it?s crying out for a much-needed refurbishment.
The toilets are consistently dirty, and some don?t even flush properly, which is unacceptable. The décor hasn?t changed since it opened back in 2008, and it?s starting to feel tired and outdated. A fresh coat of paint and some updates to the furniture and facilities could make a huge difference to the overall experience.
The atmosphere is great when there?s good music, but it?s disappointing that they?ve stopped hosting local bands and singers. Live entertainment used to be a highlight and brought in a lot of people. It would be great to see a return of those events to liven up the space and bring back that community buzz.
Given how much business The Pavilion generates, especially with so many regulars like myself, it feels like the profits could and should be reinvested into the pub. The owner apparently has other bars in Newcastle, but this place deserves some attention too. A refurb and some fresh entertainment would not only make it a better experience for the regulars but could also attract new customers.
It?s time for The Pavilion to step up and reclaim its place as the heart of our community.

Expensive and food is meh.
Servers are nice and polite but was really busy when we went so took a while to get served.
Decorated well inside and clean.

Would be a 5 star if you please fix the Camden every time it tastes vile. Some worse than others not sure if the lines ever get properly cleared.
Just needs food back on the mobile orders!

Lovely staff. Clean and presentable. We didn't eat there, but if you can gauge how good it is by how full it is, it's good.
Nice beer, plenty of seating in bar, separate eating area (restaurant) and outside seating too.

The atmosphere was good on a sunny day lots of people drinking some eating - nice vibe - however service was a bit sub, we paid & left earlier than expected due to staff forgetting on more than one occasion our order, we appreciate that service isn't probably the most important element when running a venue in such a strong position however it's the difference between visiting once & visiting every week or so...

Excellent food and service. A decent vegetarian/vegan choice. Reasonably priced for the superb quality. Canny choice of beers etc. We keep going back so that says a lot.

Too expensive for where it is and the quality of food on offer. Steak was poor and didn't come with the accompiments specified in the menu. Given sloppy pudding as compensation. Very disappointed

Had an amazing waitress on a birthday meal with a couple of friends, think she had mentioned her name was kacey. She was an amazing host and not to mention the great conversations she was able to uphold. Gladly go back for another meal with her!
