Nice pub with character. The cask ales were a little sour and not tasty (I tried two) and warning that food is not served after 4 pm on Saturday, so don't expect fish & chips in the evening.

Decent pub with a nice selection of beers on tap and spirits. Food was a bit disappointing. With the fish and chips, the chips were excellent, but the fish was over battered and overcooked. The burger was tasty, but the bun quickly got very soggy. We ordered a side of onion rings and they were almost all batter and just a little onion. We can commend the wines. Both were excellent.

What a great pub, great vibes. We have an awful expereince at a nearby place and once we arrived here our night was saved, the friendly bar staff really made our night. We sadly didnt get to try the food but I'm sure its lovely.

Clearly the bouncers have no sense of humour and quite frankly if you don't want our custom we can find somewhere better to have a better evening. If you have a sense of humour don't bother with this place. Many other places will take your custom and serve better beer. Avoid.

Nice mixed sunday roast (beef, Pork, chicken)
With mash, Yorkshire pudding, gravy, veggies.. For 20£ - IPA 7£
Ordering at 17h30, it was sad they told us we could not get dessert anymore as the kitchen was closed when we asked for it at 18h20 while noone asked if we wanted some..

Lovely pub under the end of the Tyne Bridge. Smallish standalone building. Run by Wylam brewery. Ate a burger/chips meals and both were good.

An amazing pub, certainly one of my favourites. Don?t be fooled by its seemingly unremarkable exterior, inside offers so much more than your average pub. You have the main downstairs bar area which is the largest, a downstairs outdoor area, an upstairs bar area, and in my opinion the best part - the roof terrace that has such a cosy vibe and heaters, below the iconic Tyne Bridge - what more could you possible want? The place not only looks great but always has such an amazing atmosphere too. I can see why Sam Fender and Johnny Depp came here.
