Nice pub with character. The cask ales were a little sour and not tasty (I tried two) and warning that food is not served after 4 pm on Saturday, so don't expect fish & chips in the evening.

Decent pub with a nice selection of beers on tap and spirits. Food was a bit disappointing. With the fish and chips, the chips were excellent, but the fish was over battered and overcooked.
