make sure not to rescan your paid item when you leave, if you accidentally done that, you would have to pay for that again because shop assistants will demand you back and pay for it even they know you paid for it already. And they will not listen your explains.

Racist. A tesco between the view and business school, where there is lot of Asian. But one specific staff here is extremely racist. Never shopping here please

Hot vents blowing down directly onto the fruit and veg area makes a rather sad (mushy and rotten) looking selection!

Such a poor supermarket. Unfortunately this is the epitome of a poor supermarket, the door often does not work leaving shoppers trapped inside of the shop. The alarm bell sounds whenever a person enters or leaves the shop, if they can and the door allows them to! When you call for a staff member to manually open the doors so that you can leave, they begrudgingly stroll over at a snails pace and unlock the door. There is usually very few options and little choice of products in the shop. Do not use unless you are desperate or have time to be locked in!

What is it with this place tesco check on ur employees coz they all look miserable i know we all hate work and that but my god its every single day all of them looks miserable u get scared to ask them stuff or to show u where stuff is even the security guard joined them he looks angry and miserable as soon as u walk in and u just wana be out ASAP

The obscure layout of the store makes this Tesco Express a nightmare, especially for the amount of footfall it experiences on a daily basis. At peak times while students are on campus it can be difficult to get to the shelves. Getting to the meal deal section can be suffocating, and this is made worse by stock trolleys that are regularly in the way. In addition to this the Tesco has always been notoriously bad with leaving its stock trolleys clogging the nearby street, along with allowing its delivery lorries to block a pedestrian/cycling access point every morning.

The food in there has extremely very poor quality compared with other shops. And the price is even higher than other ones. I will never go there anymore.

The employees in this store don't know the rules of some coupon activities. The coupons that can be used in another store can't be used here. They also told me that they are fake. Is it discriminating against Asians?

Very handy location, but the store is poorly laid out, the "meal deal" section is in a cramped corner, that is often inaccessible due to the number of customers and the fact the staff often leave trolleys of goods or empty cardboard boxes there. Also the self service tills are filthy, I often have to clean the scanner class to scan bar codes and my Tesco club card, the scale areas on the tills are a health hazard, covered in old crumbs, hairs and dirt. Staff seem canny enough, but I don't like the para military style security guards who are there from time to time. Finally, it's horrible outside, very scruffy with a overflowing bin, cigarette butts and a chewing gum all over the pavement (so similar to the rest of the Helix area!)
