Called in last minute as had guests visit from Scotland who fancied sushi but brought their lovely dog. The staff were so accommodating and gave us a nice table and even looked after the pup with a bowl of cold water. The service was brilliant and the Sushi was amazing. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back. 5 stars.

Visited Grey Street many times and as we planned to come to the coast for a few days, a visit was on my list. Sam was exceptional both in what he presented and the welcome he gave. This is definitely a stand alone 5 star experience and true sushi lovers will become repeat customers. The Squid was amazing. We will definitely be back. Thank you Sam for a great evening.

This restaurant is tiny so if you can I would call to book a table so that you aren?t disappointed if you were planning to eat in. The food here is absolutely beautifully presented and tastes incredible. As well as the food being wonderful, the staff here are also amazing. We last ate here as a family in March and the chef remembered what we had ordered five months later! Definitely one of our favourite places to go for a treat, it?s faultless.

Drove a long way only to be told the food had sold out. What kind of restaurant sells out of food? Are they for real? Absolutely ridiculous. Parking was poor. Place was also tiny and the staff were rude. Would not recommend to anyone.

We often go to Whitley Bay & cannot recommend this place enough for a casual dinner!! Staff are always friendly and food is absolutely amazing! If any restaurant needed to be in the dictionary under ?satiated? this place definitely should be! My tastebuds are always happy after eating here! ?

Our first time visiting today after wanting to try this place for ages!
We were blown away how good this place is!
Food was beautiful in every way! We had the MVP platter. First time trying Eel and it was lush! Really enjoyed the two Sakes I had and the staff were incredibly friendly and so knowledgeable and helpful!
Definitely a new favourite spot for us!
