Nice food and atmosphere

I?ve gone with five stars as a regular patron of Sushi me Rollin?, the food is exceptional and didn?t disappoint on the day and I know how good it can be. \n\nI hope it was a one off, however, if it was my first time visiting I?m not sure I?d be inclined to return / it would have ruined the experience. The waitress/ host was exceptionally rude, yes it was busy, but we waited fifteen minutes for a drinks order after she promised to come out. I headed inside just to explain what we wanted and was scolded for doing so and was told she would come out when she was ready. She still didn?t and we were eventually seated inside. Her mannerism was rude, inability to smile and curt in her responses. I get we all have bad days hence I don?t want to put less than five stars and I know (having spent spent 6 years as a waitress in a busy restaurant) it can feel rough, especially on a weekend but this attitude can really ruin a trip. She was rude to someone else on our table too and we had to ask when we needed a second drink, after which she walked off with one order and didn?t check the rest of the table who also wanted to order. The other gentleman was lovely and brought the usual fun and politeness you get at sushi me Rollin and just about saved it for us.

Lovely time with excellent service! One of the sushi rolls I requested was out of commission however the server recommended another which wasnt on the menu however was delicious!

This is the second time we?ve been lucky enough to grab a lunchtime table before catching a show just up the road at the Theatre Royal. \n\nOnce again the service and food was impeccable. We opted for the ?MVP? (again) and didn?t leave hungry?. \n\nThis currently consists of 8 x Sechuan Squid Uramaki topped With Crab & Shrimp Crackers, 8 x Spicy Tuna Volacano Uramaki, 6 x Kimchi Salmon Hosomaki, 2 x Salmon Nigiri, 2 x Tuna Nigiri, 2 x Eel Nigiri, 2 x Salmon Sashimi and 2 x BBQ Hot Smoked Salmon Gunkan. \n\nWe?re not exactly ?shy when it comes to a buffet? but this was ample for the two of us. \n\nTrade is always brisk here and one can see why people were having to be turned away and asked to come back later. \n\nIt?s only a small place but definitely worth coming back for if you can?t get in. \n\nCan?t wait to visit again.

Called in last minute as had guests visit from Scotland who fancied sushi but brought their lovely dog. The staff were so accommodating and gave us a nice table and even looked after the pup with a bowl of cold water. The service was brilliant and the Sushi was amazing. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back. 5 stars.

Visited last night for the first time in over a year, and it was just as good as the first time!
The restaurant is walk-ins only so had a very short wait, of less than 5 minutes, before we could be seated. Once sat our drink orders were taken by the very friendly waiter.
We ordered the Mother Clucker, Prawn Star and The Duck One and each dish was so perfect we couldn?t pick a favourite. We didn?t have any cocktails this time round, but would highly recommend the Yuzu Cosmo and Takeshi?s Basil.
Will definitely be back soon. Thank you!

My first visit to this place and it definitely won't be the last. The food was excellent and service top notch. Any questions I had had were answered in a friendly and helpful manner. Well done guys ?

The bill was not nearly as expensive as I was expecting. The food was great but the best part was the music, whoever was on the speakers on Friday night had a great taste in music, only bangers after bangers. Food was also great aswell as the service

Absolutely lovely experience. The sushi was incredibly fresh and full of flavour ? you can really tell the ingredients are top quality. The staff were brilliant: friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Service was quick without feeling rushed. Cosy atmosphere as well ? perfect for a quiet dinner or a casual meet-up with friends. Will definitely be coming back!
