It was nice to hear the kids are educated regarding litter and environmental affairs. Unfortunately the caretaker and the headmaster doesn't appear to practice what they preach. Every week residents, council have to clean up rubbish on the cycle path that comes from a corner which gathers constant rubbish. The mess on the other side near the old pool is equally bad. So mach rubbish thrown into bushes by pupils.
Maybe the head and teachers should get out and view it for themselves

I've been here for two weeks and the eachers are all so kind and most of the students older than me are super friendly, it's a great school with lots of fun lessons ! Would definitely recommend

my son got bullied but the teachers and the young boys broke my kids nose and the pushed his head down the toilet and my son is scared to go to school cause the teacher and students bully him harassing him and abuse him

I joined this school when it first established the teachers are not bad personality wise but for a learning environment it?s terrible besides some teachers who were respected by students because of who they are.
Once again most teachers have great personalities are helpful if they have free time and so on.
However a schools aim is to give the best education possible to students with the best support and best learning environment .
Since the school is small compared to other schools you have 4 sets at least that?s what it was when I was there so if you were very good at science for example and you lacked knowledge in other core subjects such as maths and English they will keep you at a low set for the time being however if you do not improve your others your science knowledge is of no use unless you decide to self learn hence the science class for example if they are studying foundation content will be of no use to you thus loosing your skills if you decide to solely rely on school for the basic content between the 2 tiers (foundation and higher GCSE)
At least in my time the school was not very diverse hence a bunch of people faced racism and students would not report it because they would be scared to the after affect of them getting punished hence stayed silent. Consequently, a past history teacher (he may be the current head of 6th form) even said something along the lines of the school would be better without you year 11 and then when it came end of year 11 he was the same person attempting to persuade us back into 6th form.
You would never feel motivated or disciplined with their way of learning as students kept disrupting the teachers and barley any actions were taken they would get shouted at and then return to class to their usual behaviour (disrupting again) rather you would feel discouraged alot of times for your future although yes they did offer a lot of opportunities but it seemed like they never wanted to push students to their potential rather they relied on students knowing everything.
Yes a bunch of exam questions were practiced throughout but with the disruption of students constantly in usual lessons the knowledge to answer them was just not there.
I will repeat my self there is VERY Few lessons where the teachers were respected which are 1 to 3 subjects but it is still terrible
My form tutor I was always grateful for he was one of the 3 respected ones and had a trusted funny personality
Unless your in the top set your class is not taken seriously and the environment makes it as if you are always wanting to please others and give up on your own self worth. Fights can barely be stopped by teachers as most of them were females hence did not have the strength to pull apart until it?s too late.
Once again the teachers personalities are amazing funny and so on but not where it makes you care about your future
If you want the best for your self as a student or the best for your son/daughter I would strongly advice do not bring them to this school unless you want to face regret on an early age
Not to mention many students were vaping in classes and so on with out the teachers noticing it was just disrespectful honestly
Although smoking and things like weed ( not all the time but still unacceptable)aren?t allowed you can see many people do them around the school teachers wouldn?t know because they would not be around these areas but any student would find out sooner or later
Although I have to thank the school massively now because I learnt to care about my surroundings and not rely on anyone besides your parents and very few
People are truly attentions seekers and if you are not they will treat you horribly
Particularly because they normally form groups to have this *gang mentality *

Do not send your kids here! They say it?s ?family.? It?s really not! One of the math teachers has told my daughter that she is going to fail in life and she is going to pass away at the age of twenty five. This school so bad. They do nothing about racism or nothing. Bullying happens so much. The school has changed. Kenton should leave! Keep this school safe! My daughter has left and she is going to be homeschooled.

I'm not sure what the teaching is like but the surrounding area is an absolute tip off rubbish their pupils drop and its blowing through the fence onto the cycle path. I've witnessed during the kids break times that rubbish is everywhere around the yard. It's been like this for years. Messiest part of the cycle path is where the school fence starts and finishes.
They need some kind of mesh or to teach their pupils to bin their litter

I worked at studio west for 3 months for my agency. The staffs and students were so friendly and also supported me. When I done my ankle students came over to me and moved my plate and bowl. The 3 months I been there I got loads of gifts which made me feel like I have been there for a long time. It?s definitely a place where I would love to return.

If I could rate this a 0 I would.. This school changed for the worse when the trust came in.. Children sat doing gcse's with sometimes no teacher turning up...children just told to copy out of books instead of the teacher actually taking an interest in educating the children.. The children rule the teachers and just do what they want when they want.. A part of the fence is missing "major safeguarding issue" and children can escape through it andStill to this day it hasn't been repaired despite them being contacted..Children are given rewards for trips that have been given c4s c5s and detentions.. Children are forgotten about.The uniform rules are non existent and pupils turn up for school looking like there on a night out that actually getting ready for a day of learning..If you're child has any sort of Nero diversity just don't bother sending them.. No offers of support are ever put in place and their way of dealing with the "naughty" children is to give them constant detentions rather than actually get to the root of the problem and offer support.I could go on but I'll leave it there. Best thing studio west could do is shut the doors and keep them shut.. Forever

honestly teachers don't help the kids my mother has been back and forth to the school about issues and nothings been done. teacher treat the kids terribly and tbh I would recommend I wouldn't put any star but since I have to 1
