Because I ordered my glasses online, and was advised this was my aftercare store, had to wait a few days for a manager to authorise to replace my lense that arrived damaged, got in, sorted my prescription, even though it's a few years out of date, optician signed it off, only to get a phonecall a few hours later saying that even though they want to help they can't, didn't want to help from the start.

I was easily able to book an eye test online. There were lots of dates and time slots to chose from, making it very convenient and easy. I received an appointment reminder telephone call and text message, which were very useful. The Specsavers staff were very helpful and friendly and there was no waiting around. Ruth, the optician, was very professional and knowledgeable, and able to answer all of my questions and queries. I was very pleased with the service Specsavers Killingworth provided, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Great service at specsavers - lovely friendly staff, bright clean store, optician who explained the tests thoroughly and what was required well and in an easy to understand way and no hard sell.

Disgusting establishment. The optometrist who conducted my eye test was abrupt and extremely rude, I have never been spoken down to in such a manner. The equipment was not cleaned between uses and the glasses to try on were filthy. I would not return here if it was the last optician on earth. UTTERLY DISGUSTING SHAME ON ALL THE STAFF IN THE KILLINGWORTH BRANCH.

Lovely staff & optician was very good as my eyesight had deteriorated since my last test in January. Had extra tests done & explained his concerns very well. With his immediate action I am now getting seen at the RVI eye clinic.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity for that extra eye test appointment.
