The local manager is completely incompetent, unable to answer basic questions about customer concerns - hopefully they replace management soon at this location. The recent reviews say it all.

I am beyond disgusted with the attitude of the employees working here - this occurred roughly 1:20pm on the 15th of June. My disabled partner (whom I care for) was in this store for all of 30 seconds with his assistance dog in training before the staff were gossiping right in front of his face on the eligibility of his assistance dog, calling her fake just because she at that current moment was not wearing her official vest. Even going as far as confronting him directly demanding proof or identification, when there legally is none in the UK, and it is illegal to even ask this. Despite my partner saying blatantly that she is in training and may not be perfect, stating that there is no formal registration and his assistance dog is being officially trained by the organisation Canine Allies, the worker (whom we think was a manager, only making this encounter so much worse) had no clue assistance dog etiquette and was definitely not knowledgable on these things. This lead to my disabled partner spiralling into a meltdown, and immediately leaving due to this blatant discrimination. I think this is frankly disgraceful, and these things should be taught to employees or rather it should simply be common sense: do not work in retail if you lack this. I will be escalating this further and we will never be shopping here again and will be telling everyone we know in the area with assistance dogs that this is not a safe space.

Not happy with your '3 schoolchildren in the shop' policy. Shrink can be managed in better ways than singling out one demographic of customers. If you're not happy with how kids are behaving in our community show them some support and guidance; offer them work experience opportunities or use your company's vast resources to fund youth clubs and similar programs. Be a catalyst for positive change and act as a role model instead of demonising kids.

Arrived at 5 minutes before closing with shutters down lights out. Extremely inconvenient when the store is meant to close at 11pm

Ignore the closing time, they're lazy mouth breathers

Some of the staff here (and especially the tall large security guard with long blonde(ish) hair) follow you around, based on how you look and the colour of your skin: clear case of consumer racial profiling, and I have experienced this a few times here....2022 and this stuff still happens...

The store it self was clean and the seemed to have a good selection of things, but the chicken and bacon sandwich I got there was awful. The meat was dry the bread was soggy. It tasted old and was poorly put together. I'm not too picky about supermarket sandwiches, but I couldn't even finish this one, I'd rather go hungry.

Usually have what I need, but a bigger store is better for more options for a bigger shop.
