Travelled a long way as prefer to not shop on line.What an absolute waste of time. Small running section onthe top floor at the back o the shop.Vitually no stock to choose from.Slowly being converted to internet shopping

Absolutely diabolical.They advertise stock online, which they do not have in store.If you try to ring them, they don't answer the phones.In fact, they even just turn the phones off.DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND SHOP ELSEWHERE

Absolute disgrace. Went for a new pair of trail shoes but after finding the small corner of the store it was in, there weren't any staff. None at all. What an absolute waste of my time, parking at the wrong side of Newcastle just to visit this place. Back to Northern Runner for me.

Having suffered with shin splints for a while I turned up for a gait analysis and it was a last resort for me as I thought I was never going to recover. Oliver was fantastic and explained I run with an instep and helped me get the shoes I need. After running with my new trainers for a few weeks now I can honestly say they?re so much better. I?m really happy and impressed.Thank you so much!

Gait analysis, empathy and discussion re: shoe choice with Oliver was great. There was absolutely no pressure to buy any shoes he had to offer. Recommended.Disappointing that Runners Need head office limit the range / size of shoe that can be ordered. I need a wide fitting and only 2 styles were available in my size, even if ordered.

I booked in for a gait analysis this morning and was met by Sam. He was friendly and professional, and helped me understand more about how I run and what shoes would be best for me. He never felt sales-y and was just focused on what felt best for me.

I rang up on the morning & was able to book an appointment for a shoe fitting in the early afternoon. I met Oliver and he was absolutely fantastic. The gait analysis was very interesting & insightful. I loved being able to try on different shoes and get a feel for how they felt while running at different paces. There was no pressure to buy but I did feel confident in the pair I chose after discussing everything with Oliver. Runners Need come highly recommended. Thanks very much! ?

Oliver fitted me for some running shoes, explained everything and I came away knowing I needed 2 sizes bigger than my usual shoe size. Didn?t buy the trainers but went back the next day to purchase as such a good price

Went here today for a Gait Analysis today with Begonia ive got to admit i learnt so much from begonia she is so helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend going there for advice or a gait analysis.

I visited Runners Need in Newcastle today as niggling injuries were frequently stopping me from running.I decided to get my gait checked and I'm so glad I did.Begonia asked me what it was I needed and why before reviewing my gait 3 times in my own shoes a shop gait checking pair and then finally the shoes she thought would be great for me personally.Begonia showed me each time how I was running and explained what she was assessing in the footage.I made the purchase she had suggested but I think the best thing about my visit was meeting Begonia and knowing she took the time to help me because she wanted too and not just because it was her job.I will definitely be using Runners Need in Newcastle again and hopefully Begonia will be working on that day as she made my visit a real pleasure.
