Loved this hotel, right at station.Really comfortable bed. Food good and room clean. Would be great if they cleaned the windows though.Staff helpful.

Super luxurious rooms and a very nice old-fashioned hotel. It's all chic. You can also eat well there for a normal price. In any case, much cheaper than in the Netherlands.Walkability: The hotel is really right in the center.

Lovely place to stay, a bit noisy Sometimes but hey, you are literally in a Train Station so it's to be expected though the what I believe are triple glazing windows dull most of it out.Gorgeous rooms & staff at the very top of their game. Would & will definitely go back, let's be honest, Newcastle is THE Gem of the North & the night life is second to none & always will be. Can't wait to go back & see what they do with that magnificent United Stadium once the build starts.All in all a fantastic visit.Nearby activities: The nightlife & people are amazing, you can't get better clubs & atmosphere.I have been back & forward for years now & I can't wait to go back. When I leave, it is like that feeling when you are sure you have left something behind. If that makes sence.It's like my home away from home & I can't wait for United to get dyled in so we can start winning trophies again. It's just the greatest city ever.

Attended a murder mystery function . The hotel is very handy with a central location. Inside it is well appointed. The meal provided with our event was excellent and the staff were helpful and efficient. Would look forward to returning for another event.

A hotel full of character! This hotel was just perfect for what we needed, and with its location being a part of the Central station, this made it even better for coming off of the train and straight into the hotel!From the start, this hotel is full of character and was a real treat! The foyer was just stunning with it's giant chandelier, it certainly set it apart from your standard hotel and considering how we paid a very good price for our stay, we couldn't complain!The staff were friendly, the room was great, on the top and had a view overlooking the station and the river Tyne.Breakfast was included (a buffet) which was of a very good standard!A great period hotel and I'd highly recommend if you're visiting Newcastle.Rooms: The room was basic, clean and tidy, the bed was a bit on the wobbly side but on the whole, nothing to complain about.Nearby activities: Quality bars and restaurants are all within close proximity to the hotel along with the Quayside and various historic landmarks.Walkability: Bars, restaurants, city center is all within a close walking distance, if not, then the Metro is very close and gets you about with ease.Noteworthy details: Fantastic location where public transport is concerned.

Beautifull old world building. The reception area with its huge chandelliers and grand staircase is amazing looking.Great friendly,efficient staff. Both on reception and in the bar.They charge £15 for parking. The most expensive parking Iv'e paid for in all my travels around the UK.

Hours about the pool and leisure club were wrong on the papers in the rooms.A pants went missing from my room, nobody knew anything. Bad service from the reception.
