Be careful when going into the new river island store in eldon Square. The design feature of the hand rail on the stairs has a design flaw in my opinion which I've ended up with a painful lump and bruise on my arm due to the sharp bit of wood pointing down on the hand rail.

Good bread. Tasty salad and big portions. A solid shawarma. Seating is only on a high bench and it get busy. But if you?re on the go it?s a great choice

Decent amount of stock and good discounts on the sale. I was overcharged on some sale items (price I was charged didn't match sticker price) so make sure you check your receipt before you leave the store.

Attempted to return a pair of faulty jeans, the male manager was very aggressive and attempted to belittle me in-front of his peers. Issue of the return now been resolved with river island head office but will not be bothering to return to this store in the future. Very poor experience and very poor management.

Terrible no staff to be seen. Shop lifters would of had a field day. When a staff member did show his face he just walked straight past me. After that I just walked out as I was looking for something I seen online. Shocking service and they need some staff in there cause it wasn't good walking into the men's department with no staff there. Lost my business for good after that today.

Not good customer service. Walked into the store to have a look around after having a look in other shops. I walked in and looked at rings and jewellery. I picked it up to look at it and a young girl shouted at me "Are you going to pay for that?" I responded I was just having a look. And she gave me a dirty look. And she said "well you need to pay for it" and I put it down and said I don't want to buy it. She tutted and she went up to another member of staff and said I was trying to steal it. I questioned why I was being accused of stealing when I was just having a look at it. I spoke to the manager and he said he had not been upstairs so he doesn't know. And there is nothing he can do. Despite the fact the young girl and young lad had followed me around the store making me feel uncomfortable and had been making comments about me. Unprofessional and not a good experience. I won't be coming back. Will spend my money in other retail shops that don't make accusations to me and make me feel uncomfortable.
