Stayed here while visiting the local hospital, which was around a 15-minute drive away.
The room was clean and located at the back of the hotel, so we barely heard any road noise. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The only downside was some strange noise during the night?it sounded like someone running around on the roof. We were on the top floor, so not sure what it was, but it did go on for a while and made it a bit hard to sleep.
Restaurant on site was good value for money, really friend staff and good food.
Overall, a convenient and comfortable stay for what we needed.

Conveniently located right next to the A1(M), 5 minutes drive from the Metrocentre and 15 mins drive from Newcastle city centre. Despite being close to the main road it was a quiet location with green spaces surrounding the hotel. The service was excellent with a helpful lady at reception to check me in at 8pm. The room was clean and practical (as expected from premier inn) the only downside was it was incredibly hot due to the lack of air conditioning (28 degrees on room thermostat) which made it difficult to settle. I would visit again, but maybe at a cooler time of the year than June.

Lovely and quiet. Broke up our travel and stayed overnight. Staff super friendly, room very comfortable and very well priced. Highly recommend

The room was ok apart from a window that you couldnt lock the service from staff was lovely however upon leaving there was people playing football in the car park and nearly hit our car and no staff said anything to them in regards to the location it is perfect if you want to go to metro centre or newcastle

Fantastic staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Food was excellent. Rooms need a wee bit tlc but clean and tidy.

Room and breakfast was a bargain. It is around the corner of the metro centre. And easy enough to find if pulling off the motorway. Rooms are a good size for a couple of nights. My bed was lovely and comfortable. There was a tv, and wifi, but no plug sockets on the bedside. The bathroom has a lovely deep bath and large rain shower head. The hotel is currently being refurbished but it doesn't cause problems. I would definitely come back. Staff are very friendly, but I was disappointed that there were no breakfast muffins. If you like continental breakfast then get up ear5. 12 am departure means you can have a relaxed morning.

Not the best premier inn I've stayed in to be honest, needs some tlc and some upgrades to the rooms etc but overall pleasant enough the bed was still as comfy as they come in premier inns and ultimately that's what you want a good night's kip?

I had room 118, away from lifts & not next door to staff room, don't be concerned by the pipework as it wasn't noisy at all. The views may never win prizes but very close to metro centre and close to A1. The room was clean and well looked after. Biggest asset is the staff as very friendly and welcoming. Premier Inn now run the restaurant and the food and service was excellent. Will stay again.

The room was rather dated and stains on carpets and walls.
The staff are excellent which always keeps your spirits high.
Location great for the shopping centre. however you are basically land locked as you can't walk ANYWHERE surrounded by carriageways and farms. Need to drive to shopping centre or use taxis.

Good hotel only downside is that it is too far away to be able to walk there so can easily run away with money for taxis. Really friendly staff always willing to help. Large clean rooms, comfortable beds and big fluffy towels. Breakfast is excellent value specially if you've got children as 2 eat free with one adult. Food is buffet and replenished all the time and there's everything you could want. Travelled with my 2 grandsons and this was our 2nd visit and we will return.

Handy for the metro centre - but still requires a car to get there. The hotel is starting to show its age, the rooms lack usb sockets.
