I was sold out of date hill tinned dog food. This was out of date by a year and a half. My dog suffered a reaction with her skin due to this.
On a different occasion:
Poor customer service skills. I was stood waiting to be served when a member of staff told the other staff member to serve someone else, to which they still continued to ignore me and still serving everyone but me. The following quote is from their website ?We?re the UK?s leading pet care business, providing the best products, services and advise to guide owners through their pet care journey?. I think you should take that statement from your website until you can actually fulfil it

I specifically told the groomers I dint want my dogs skinned ino it might be good for them but that's my choice there well looked after. My partner sent me a pic of them when I was at work today and I've never been so devastated to see how my dogs look not gonna be booking them back in here so if anyone knows of a good groomer that can style there hairs once it grows back in it would be much appreciated

Brilliant for kid's since small furry pets visible at front and fish at the back to see has nearly everything you need for animals has gerbils rabbits russian dwarf hamsters rats baby ginie pigs and all sorts of different type of fish and a groomers for your dogs at the back of byker pet's at home dog beds and everything there perfect place to get pet supplies and pets to!

The poor animals they sell are kept in disgustingly small enclosures and usually visibly stressed. Some are kept in those spaces for weeks.
Good luck trying to tame a pet that has spent it's childhood stressed out of its mind.

Thank you to the helpful staff last Thursday morning regarding dogs? skin issue. I love this shop for pet supplies, they always have a good range.
Taken off 1 star because they?re a little more expensive than other places and they sell rawhide products - you?d think Pets at Home would know better/care more about what they?re providing.

Had my dog groomed this morning. Fantastic friendly service and he had a full groom within an hour and a half, my previous groomer took 3 and a half hours which my dog didn?t like and neither did I. I would highly recommend.

My cat has fleas so I came to the store to source some items to help with it, it?s the first time my cat has had fleas so I did not know exactly what I needed to do, that?s when CHLOE the staff member at the store stepped in! She was extremely knowledgeable about how to treat fleas and was polite and patient with me in explaining what I needed to do, it was fantastic and customer service and I felt I had to write a review to acknowledge it.
I will definitely use this store as my go to place for pet products in the future . Even though there is closer pet shops to me the trip to this one is worth it purely on the basis of customer service .
