This is our 2nd visit here, we're not locals. The menu is very vast & great value, I must say the steak & Ruddles ale pie is very tasty. We even had the ultimate big candymania to share afterwards. The staff were very friendly & there are lots of tables so you do not need to book most of the time.

The only time food has been very very late, the manager was very professional- got our food to us for free and gave us free desserts as apology. Very clean, though sometimes the ordering app can be a bit clunky. Food is reliably good, and theres lots of options. A good pub.

Great pub . It does get busy at times but also has friendly staff and a good atmosphere. It's a Hungry Horse pub so you know what it's good quality food wise. The Newton has a wide range of beer ales and lagers, and their wine selection is also very good and reasonable priced.

Had lunch here today .service was OK. saying this found out young girl that was serving was only staff working . so she had to take orders place orders clean tables . this is while a member of staff just stood there not a smile on her face. I would give 5Stars for that young girl doing this all alone. WELL DONE THAT YOUNG GIRL . Hope next time I visit more staff on quicker I get my food.

Tasty food, good value, nice staff and quick service. Love that there's a huge range of drought lagers but we'd like a dog friendly area.

We have been coming here quite a few times last 3 months ,no matter where we are we always try make it back here for a drink and a meal,food is alw,this place is definitely worth a try ays lovely and beer nice and cold,staff always nice and polite ,and take time to speak to u,they must have a good chef every meal been very tasty ,its our favourite pub and we travel quite away to get here..

Closest pub to where I live, great for sport, good food, and friendly staff (especially Danielle) . I highly recommend the Newton.

Went in for food with my children , first time trying out the food and it was absolutely delicious , service was also excellent , was serviced by whom I think was the manager.Costumer service was excellent ,staff member was totally down to earth made the experience that bit me enjoyable.All round great experience will definitely be back again

There should be a Zero star review option! The family ate here 4 years ago for a child's birthday, all 4 meals were appalling. One child's meal- fish fingers, chips and peas or beans- fish fingers like leather appeared to have been cooked the day before and reheated (like leather, dry and flavourless), the chips well, they weren't chips, and the peas/beans (forgot which), had definitely seen better days- we had to apologise to him for what had been provided as 'food'. Today thought we'd return out of convenience/time assuming in the intervening years there might have been a change of owner/ingredients/cook or all of the above, but no, still appaling. In future, I would only eat here if close to starvation and there was no other source of 'food'.

This place is amazing! Came here for food with my family and was welcomed by some lovely staff. The food was excellent and the wait time was not long at all. I would definitely come back here again

The Newton Park pub is somewhere I?ve often passed. But today we decided to try Sunday lunch and we weren?t dissapointed. The staff were pleasant and friendly and we got served our food promptly. The food was well presented and nice and hot. When ordering we were offered a larger choice of meal but what we had on our plates was ample. I?ll certainly be back here for lunch. I highly recommend the Newton Park.Parking: I found a parking bay without any difficulty, close to the entrance and there was ample spaces.

Twice in a row now we've had bad customer service in Newton Park, old guy behind the bar was very sarcastic, and today we ordered 3 meals guy behind bar only put through 2 meals and got one of the meals totally wrong.. and accused us of only saying you only asked for two meals.. when clearly we ordered 3.. couldn't fault waiting staff but bar staff need to go on a customer service course.

Nice food although I asked for no egg and was quite dissatisfied to find egg on my mixed grill. You should have offered me an extra pineapple ring, was told it'd be taken off but it wasn't. You need to offer a swap policy for bits of meals people don't like

Stopped off for evening meal and tried the gammon Mix it up. Good quality food and very generous portion of fat free gammon. Slight hiccup with side order but very quickly sorted without any quibbles. Pleasant surroundings. Would definitely recommend this pub and will be on the lookout for Hungry Horse elsewhere.
