Pop in here frequently for lunch on Saturdays as it's near mum's. Today I called with my partner for lunch and as it is Wednesday we thought we'd take advantage of of the curry and a drink. Never again! The most awful curry sauce ever! The rice and mango sauce were okay.

Went as a family of 12 people including kids as well as adults. Called ahead to request a table and spoke to a lovely lady called Deb?s or Deb, she informed me she would do her best to get a table at short notice. We arrived an hour late due to the kids but weren?t let down as they had kept a table for us the whole time. The food on offer was of an exceptional quality and the service was just as good. Big shout out to Kelly who went above and beyond to make or visit great. They have a very large paring lot on site free of charge. We can?t wait to visit again thank you to everyone who made or visit so good.

Excellent food and very good daily special offers ? The only downside is that there are no decent real ales We will definitely return to sample more of their dishes ?

me and my girlfriend popped for a bite to eat one friday afternoon, staff and service great , both got the Korean bbq chicken burger which was absolutely delicious

My friends & I have been here on many occasions. We meet for a meal, drinks & a catch-up as we all used to work together. Food is always great & although it can be busy on Friday evenings, we always manage to get table alright. Staff are always friendly & always check back after food is served to make sure everything is ok. The thing that let's it down for us is the music that is played. It's like club or rave music & it's awful! I don't know who they think it appeals to as there's a very mixed age group in the pub. Last night it was particularly bad & we left early as result. Normally we would stay the whole evening. I actually had a headache when I left. Please can you play some music that's easy listening? Or failing that, don't play any! We'll simply have to find another pub for our once a month get together, which is a shame!

Myself and my boyfriend went to order food at 8:20pm and were told that the kitchen was closed, despite the website and menus stating that food is served until 9pm. A member of staff, who could only be described as an older man with no hair, proceeded to laugh at us and question the last time we were in the pub. He offered no explanation as to why the kitchens were closed other than that there was nobody to serve, even though we arrived well before the stated closing time for the kitchen, and there were plenty other guests in the venue at the time. We were also laughed at by the same member of staff, he made our experience in the Newton Park unpleasant and frustrating. Will not be returning.

This is our 2nd visit here, we're not locals. The menu is very vast & great value, I must say the steak & Ruddles ale pie is very tasty. We even had the ultimate big candymania to share afterwards. The staff were very friendly & there are lots of tables so you do not need to book most of the time.

Decided to have an early evening Drink & Sunday lunch. Great service & prices for the drinks however when tried to order 2 X Sunday Lunches was informed not available at about 7pm. Really looking forward to the Sunday lunch, nothing else took our fancy so left without ordering any food.other than that reasonably priced,reasonable atmosphere but if you want a Sunday Lunch best go before 7pm.

The only time food has been very very late, the manager was very professional- got our food to us for free and gave us free desserts as apology. Very clean, though sometimes the ordering app can be a bit clunky. Food is reliably good, and theres lots of options. A good pub.

Great pub . It does get busy at times but also has friendly staff and a good atmosphere. It's a Hungry Horse pub so you know what it's good quality food wise. The Newton has a wide range of beer ales and lagers, and their wine selection is also very good and reasonable priced.

Had lunch here today .service was OK. saying this found out young girl that was serving was only staff working . so she had to take orders place orders clean tables . this is while a member of staff just stood there not a smile on her face. I would give 5Stars for that young girl doing this all alone. WELL DONE THAT YOUNG GIRL . Hope next time I visit more staff on quicker I get my food.

Really impressed with the quality and price of the food. Korean BBQ chicken was delicious. IPA very good too. Quick and easy for a Monday night.

I do not come out often. I brought the car so was not drinking alcohol. I was charged £1.85 for pint of blackcurrant and water. Absolute disgrace. I know legally I cannot be charged for water. So how can these charges be justified?

Called in after school to feed the grandkids. Good choice and very readable price, we will definitely be back. Staff really friendly too
