One night stay to break our journey. Huge car park and plenty of spaces. Room on third floor was very spacious but furniture little dated. We used the pool and spa and very nice and relaxing. Went to dinner but was closed so went over to Metro Centre (5 minutes walk). A great hotel and I will use againNearby activities: Metro Centre is 5 minutes walk

Met three friends for a lite lunch which was perfect; salmon and cream cheese on beetroot bread with a side dish.Nearby activities: Metro Center.Safety: Car park next to hotel.Walkability: Easy to walk to the Metro Center.Food & drinks: Good menu choice of food and drinks

The shining stars of this hotel are the reception staff. They are really friendly and helpful. Since they are your first experience of the hotel they are a great advert. We arrived much earlier than check in time, went in to check in just so we could be notified when the room was ready. Didn?t expect to get our key, but there was a room ready so we got it early. We were heading straight out so it saved us any bother later and was much appreciated. Room was nice. Spacious and clean. Pool was nice too. Didn?t use the bar / restaurant. We?d definitely stay again.

Plenty of places to eat and the mall nearby. Excellent gym with plenty of cardio, weight machines and free weights. No outlets near the bed though.

Checking in was no problem, receptionist was very knowledgeable.Was given a free membership to the "Leisure Club" (but not taken).We had a dinner (ribs) which was very meaty, chips were good too.No handpull bitter so had to have pressurerisd bitter.Beds were comfy.One tip : Supply a bowl of warm water with lemon when issuing finger eating food.
