I use three different banks for myself and a family member, this Lloyds branch is one of the best I've been to.
The staff are always very pleasant and helpful, had no problems over the last five years. The only minor issue I had was with their web site but the branch staff sorted it out.
The only downsides are that it can get busy and the counter queues can get quite long.

Lloyds Bank....stop getting one of your employees to pester your customers who are standing in line. I want to go to the counter to be seen by an actual person who can help me, rather than being investigated standing in line, then sent to sit over the other side of the bank with a load of other to people to wait again to be seen by a bank employee for the same thing. Its ridiculous!!!!!!......Put more than one person on the front counters to help people....ITS QUICKER AND EASIER!!!!!!!
This system is resulting in a longer wait, the que is bigger and also very impersonal by the staff. If people ask for help standing in line that's fine, for people who don't want that and want to go to the front counter leave them alone!!!!!!!!!!!
Quality in the bank is going down due to this ridiculous system, only good thing is this doesn't reflect in the all the nice staff who work behind the counters to talk face to face to the customers and deliver a friendly person with a smile.

As soon as I stepped into the bank today, a lady immediately came up to me and asked me if she could help. She had a very bright smile and made me feel very welcomed.She helped me open an account very quickly. Appalling amount of staff on counters 2 cashiers working and 14 people waiting in queue. One more cashier came on. Really friendly and pleasant but so many people waiting. friendly staff but not enough to getting through customers. pleasantries and chatting which is to be expected.Lloyds need to employ more cashiers. Been in queue 20 mins already. Still 5 from front. Not acceptable, not staffs fault.

Been going since I was wee bairn. Staff always very supportive with my money queries. Bank manager is always straight to the point doesn?t mess about. Went into today at 9am before heading to work and the staff couldn?t be more helpful.

Usually this bank is really good, on this occasion bad. See photos?Google and Lloyds own website state opening time until 17:00 Monday to Friday. I took that screen shot stood outside the bank (note the time), but the lights were all out and bank closed. Please update opening hours on your info channels, it?s an easy fix to provide better customer so that customers can plan their visits.

Three different times I have been given wrong information! Twice by the female member of staff with the grey boy hair cut and one further time give me wrong information of dates for processing payment. Have misleading me with my funds information and not helped to get my funds either when it was their job to know about how to assist with that.

Staff was rude when I asked another member for manager and put compliant forward he was very rude and abrupt jumping to conclusions picturing what he thinks may have happened to excuse his staffs behaviour before he even spoke to her next thing I know my account has been closed and false excuses were made to close it around this incident. Disgrace !
