We had a lovely time today, came all the way from London with my wife and we sat outside, the people were all lovely, and we really liked the guy that was bringing us the food he said he is Greek and taught the word fharisto which means thank you apparently. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely sitting outside when the weather's nice, very attentive staff, however, the food was very bland. Not the same as it used to be!

Lived in Newcastle all my life and never gave this restaurant a try and I'm thankful we did! Food was exceptional - Halloumi Fries & Pita Bread with 3 dips for starters followed by Chicken Souvlaki & a Lamb and Halloumi Burger which blew my taste spuds away! Would definitely recommend having dinner in this establishment and service was quick and efficient.

Visited Kafeneon during Restaurant Week and had such a lovely experience! The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were incredibly attentive.
We went for the keftedes which were cooked to perfection and trio of dips with pita to start, and they were so flavorful and tasty. The chicken souvlaki was equally impressive. Of course, we couldn't leave without trying the baklava, and it did not disappoint.
All in all, a fantastic meal and a great vibe. Definitely worth a visit whether it?s Restaurant Week or not!

Sat outside ,good sports for people watching,food is good,but portions are getting smaller.Wife ordered tzatziki, small dollop.Ordered same in Skiathos got bloody LOADS.
Being stingy will lose custom.
I can recommend the Kleftiko,
and downstairs tables.

Everything is on point in this restaurant.
I have good food and a good time to enjoy dining with my friend.

Had the big fat greek meal, and it was amazing! Went as a party of 11 and the service was great, couldn't fault anything. Would definitely recommend, and would return next time I'm up there.
