This Gregg's is amazing. Not being from the UK I only had knowledge of what Gregg's is from my UK friend. It was completely undersold this place is nothing like anything in the US.
The food at this location was hot, the staff were friendly and the prices unbeatable. I actually had to confirm they had rang up all my items ?
Highly recommend this location and imo Gregg's please come over to the US, I love you ?? I may have visited you more than a Mackem visits a seagull over the course of a few days.
P.S.- My wife rates your chips (American potato wedges) the best chips in the UK, and we had quite a lot. Her exact words were "these have flavor, compared to all those other chips we have had".

This is a Greggs with modern indoor seating! It has good views of the street and Newcastle?s fab buildings,but the tables were dirty and the chairs hard so not a comfy place to pass the time. I got a bacon baguette, not great because the baguette was soft and chewy but bacon was fine. Service was ok but they looked hassled and there were no smiles for me.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of floor space to manoeuvre

Always a great eating place wherever you are in the country. Staff here are very pleasant and professional. A credit to the company.
