We are Dobbies card holders so we come to one of the branches once a month to get our free hot drinks! Usually end up buying other stuff too ?. The Dobbies card is really worth it. The kids even like coming as there is quite a good toy section too.

We didn't really want to rate this cafe the fish and chips we ordered was cold and we asked if it was gluten free we was told it was but my husband was ill after eating his meal. the meal was over priced

My wife and myself have just had the coldest fish and chips + mushy peas mine was warm at best apart from the peas they were that cold they must have been straight out of the tin My wife's fish and chips were that cold they were probably straight out of the North Sea definitely would not recommend to anyone and will not return for around £32 would have been better spent on the Sally army

Staff were lovely very helpful but!!! not enough in restaurant need more help quite a wait to get service and lots tablets had not been cleared no fault of the staff when there's not enough of them ...my granddaughter had a interview a month ago for a part-time job there and was very hopeful but to no avail had no response back one way or another very disappointed since yous are very short staffed her name is Bella Sweeting and when we were there she tied the tables in the doggy part of the restaurant because they were full of dirty dishes ....

Everything you want from a garden centre. The cafe is excellent with a good choice with windows looking out on the garden ornaments.

Great coffee but I wish they had more staff on before 10am waited 15 minutes to get served only one person serving and she was run of her feet and why don't they sell muffins everyone loves muffins.

Garden centre's ok but you'd have to pay me to eat there again. Veggie sausages so dry I couldn't get my knife through them, everything else was wet. I'm really not sure how you remove all flavour from mash and veg but achieved it they did. I had hoped the gravy would disguise the pool of water on my plate from their lack of training with a slotted spoon but no, that too was bereft of flavour and substance. Never thought I'd willingly pay £12 for a plate of cardboard and water.

Plenty to look at but houseplants were so dry a lot had wilted badly. Restaurant reasonably priced.

There is absolutely no customer service at all. The young students working there couldn't care less.The kitchen always seems to be closed even when they are advertising food served till 3pm. There are no signs displayed otherwise. When asked a member of staff why, the reply was, don't know, and more like I don't care. I was not the only disgruntled customer as a few of us discussed it in line.

Visited here as my wife is coeliac and we'd seen that dobbies offered a range of gluten free choices including fish and chips. Ordered our food and confirmed with the first staff members that the fish and chips was gluten free so then joined the queue to order hot drinks. If not familiar with the set up you order food at one station and then join the queue to order drinks. Some of the food is made up in the kitchen whereas other parts are under heat lamps at the front. This includes the chips so when we saw chicken nuggets (not gf) neing dropped into the chips we started asking questions around cross contamination ie same chips as the gf option? is the fish and chips fried seperate or in the same fryer as everyhting else? Staff no clue. Wife unable to risk cross contamination so we cancelled this part of the order. Shame as it did look nice and we are just round the corner. On the flipside the lasagna my daughter had was to her taste.
