“This service is amazing for people who need transport to there care. My mum had stage 3 Ovarian cancer and I was worried I couldn’t take the time required from work to get her to her treatment ( she had chemotherapy every week for 19 weeks) the freeman arranged daft as a brush for my mam. They are an amazing team where the volunteers genuinely love doing what they do. The volunteers put the patient at the heart of everything. My mam always had amazing drivers and companions. They always helped her in and out, talked to her , reassured her and they even waited when her chemo over ran until sometimes after 6pm. They never left her stranded. My mam unfortunately passed away but I will never forget what this service provided for her and our family. Thank you.”

“This is my favorite charity store in Newcastle. Although the price of the goods is a little higher than other similar stores, the quality is relatively better!I have bought many items here, like vintage dresses, skirts, lace cloths…I can find something unique and valuable every time I go there. Also, the volunteers there are all very friendly and helpful.”
