Great food, good portions, super service.

We visited this morning for breakfast, and while the food was excellent, the service sadly let the experience down.
When we first arrived, we stood waiting for a few minutes without any acknowledgment from the five staff members behind the counter. Even a quick ?I?ll be with you in a minute? would have made a big difference.
Eventually, a young man in a shirt approached us, but his manner came across as arrogant and dismissive. Rather than greeting us, he simply held up two fingers. When we explained we needed a table for four, he sighed, walked us over, dropped the menus on the table, and left without a word. When our friends arrived, they experienced almost the exact same treatment from him.
I even commented aloud, hoping the rest of the team wouldn?t be as rude, but unfortunately this staff member?s attitude didn?t improve, and he left us feeling uncomfortable throughout. Thankfully, the other staff we interacted with were much friendlier and more professional.
On a positive note, the food was great ? we all had the eggs benedict, which were spot on. The only thing that really let the experience down was this particular staff member?s attitude, which I feel could be improved with some customer service training.

My three sisters and I have just had breakfast and it was beautiful. Staff are lovely, friendly and very customer focused. Would definitely recommend and we will certainly be back. Thank you Butterfly Cabinet x

Not actually dog friendly and the guy lied about not doing sourdough toast (lots of reviews rate it) was a 15:30 visit so maybe they didn't want the business so late in the day shame looks quirky if you're allowed in, if you've got a dog you have to sit in the limited outside seating.

Tried to get a table for 3 adults and a baby +pram. Staff were shocked we asked to accommodate a pram. We told there was nothing and would be a long wait especially for the pram. We would have been happy to take pram back to car and just have baby on our lap but never given any options. Felt very anti-baby. We arrived 15 minutes after opening time and not at peak time.

Disappointed, I wanted this place to be amazing as I?d seen the queues and heard all good reviews but.
I had eggs Benedict with lovely bacon but hollandaise was very vinegary and congealed on top of the eggs , also the muffins weren?t crisp and freshly cooked they were tough as though they been cooked earlier and sat waiting.
My husband had the full English which he said was lovely but I noticed the brown sauce was very gloopy . There was no toast with the breakfast and it would have been nice to have been prompted to order some as an extra.
And for somewhere as expensive I was surprised to have my earl grey tea arrive in a plain white Wetherspoons mug with the tea bag left in , a nice tea pot or even a cup and saucer would have been more appreciated and appropriate .
Sorry but we won?t be back as definitely not worth the money.

Really good value breakfast, staff were very nice. Food came quickly even though they were very busy. Only got the breakfast this time but the menu is very very big so there?s a wide range of options to choose from!
The queue was only a couple of people long however when we finished the queue grew so maybe prepare for that but it doesn?t impact the food or service at all.

Busy little café with excellent, friendly staff and the full English with scrambled eggs and black pudding was superb. I highly recommend the Butterfly Cabinet!

A nice breakfast had this morning.
Poachies were perfectly done, nice thick cut bacon, and crispy hash browns.
Sausages were herby - which is not my thing, but weren?t bad.
Ranch poach eggs on a muffin was good but maybe a bit OTT on the dressing.
Staff were dead canny.
Worth a visit for a good quality breakfast and nice coffees.

Breakfast was amazing but cake not so good as they are tiny portions and the red velvet cake was tiny and dry in the middle with no frosting as a red velvet should be.the latte and capachino was the best ive tasted much better than costa.

A lovely little spot!
The place is cozy and welcoming, the food is really good, and the staff are super friendly. Perfect for a relaxed meal or coffee catch-up. I?ll definitely be coming back!
