I always collect parcel from here as location is very convenient and close to my house. However, EVERY TIME and every encounter to STAFF especially in the till or parcel collection till, it leaves me a very bad impression and always have untoward experience from them. How can this store continue to hire these kind of people, can they atleast train their staff CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CIVILITY towards their customers?!?? They are so rude, disrespectful and not even bother if they shame the customers. How frustrating! Not even deserve 1 star

It's a small Asda, so the range is not huge, but there's still a reasonable section of FreeFrom products, including the flour I went in to get. Self-service tills are card only, but staff worked hard to keep queuing to a minimum

Shopped here today for the first and last time. I happened to speak with several staff members for various reasons, and was shocked by their rude unhelpful attitudes, and sour expressions. Not even one star.

I've used this store on a daily basis for a lot of years. I find most the staff unhelpful, aggressive, and pretty damb right rude and confrontational. The same has happened to my 80 year old mother whom refuses to use the store again.

Times on the signage do not reflect the times the store is open, either that or the staff clock off early.

To be honest the only reason I gave this awful store a star is so that I could write this review otherwise they wouldn't even get a star!. Never in my life have I ever been so insulted what .( Absolute appalling attitude and awful customer service!!)I only popped in for 20 Sterling duel cigarettes,a pack of corn beef for £1.30 and a £1 pound multi pack of ready salted crisps which in total rounds up too £13.30 judging by the recept when i was short changed and given £1.50 .Then I was accused of lying from the (cheeky incompetent new member of serving staff) who muttered" he's lying" who apparently had only been working there 2 months to her colleague. Then the other member of staff who was really helpful ( Christine I think she's called!!!) went off too check the cctv on my request. Meanwhile inbetween all this I merely said" why is this person still serving she clearly doesn't know what she is doing?". In between all this another new member of staff who's job was customer service?apparently !" ..said" leave her alone she hasn't been here long everyone makes mistakes!" In which I said "So That Makes it OK to call me a lier and push the blame on to me for her mistakes ?" .(.In my opinion we all make mistakes but its a different story when we blame others for them !).. Anyway whilst she was standing there talking to another check out person doing nothing as per usual on a different counter who was ignorant with blonde hair pretty sure she named( Ruth) accused me of being "nothing but trouble!"..under her breath to this new customer sevice assistant ( I've been shopping there for over 5 year and ive been no bother ever to anyone so that aswell is another lie and slander!!..) . Then after the cctv was monitored I was given my correct change " but!! " at this point i was more concerned about the attitude of the " so called! " customer service person and being called a lier from the person who short changed me and the check out person slandering me saying I'm nothing but trouble yet!. The excuse was they only been working there 2 month all I was concerned about mainly at this point was a apology from them that I never got so now it's more about keeping staff happy rather than the customers ( I still don't know how that makes it OK for this stinking attitude and rude behaviour and unprofessionalism . And I don't understand how verbal abuse and calling someone a lier makes up for that yet the manager thinks this is OK. Not 1 apology did I receive yet head office says I received 1 so even the manager is a lier! ..Never in my life have I been so insulted by complete unprofessional, ignorant and vile mouthed staff. There is no excuse for how long they been working there as its common sense!. This is the worst customer service and disregard for professionalism I've ever had the misfortune too come across and i urge others on regular basis to check their change in future at this store. Also some of the people giving positive feedback on here are either friends of the workers or work for asda so I'd take no notice because 9 times out of 10 its just about giving themselves positive feedback! And also in this store the stock is getting less and less so I'd save my time and either go next door too aldi or morrisons less than 1 mile away at West Denton shopping centre because then you will have more of a chance of finding little every day items that these are so incapable of stocking up on .Also asda bank machine is never stocked properly with money so its annoying if you have to pay for things like gas/electric at the counter and there seems to be more staff walking around claiming to be busy doing nothing than staff serving at the counter serving people but if you don't take my word for it I urge the public to find that out for themselves so then and only then they will know exactly what I'm Talking about !!.........

Use this store on a daily basis and for some reason this Sonia who thinks she is the manager comes over to me and says do you want me to embarras you I'm getting security your barred I said for what she said you know exactly what you have been for over three years I said what for she even served me two days ago must of had a bad day and been promoted to manager as I rang the store to speak with a manager avoid this shop at all costs as she is now the manager and she causes a show over nothing still don't know why I was apparently barred for when she put my shopping through fine 2 days ago

Little hitlers with their Identification markers I'm a 50 year old man is this store taking the piss! Refused alcohol should I take it as a compliment absolutely not when I've been inconvenienced to another store! Get a grip.

I get that you have to challenge 25 on alcohol etc but I'm nearly a 40 year old woman!! There's a lot of difference between someone who looks under 25 to someone who is 37 years old no I didn't have ID I stated I was 37 but was shown up when I was refused to be served absolute stupid cow!!
