Having had an issue with my car and being on Arnold Clarke auto care I used this garage.They had the car from 0815 in the morning until 1600 to confirm that the issue was an ABS sensor (an issue which I told them was more than likely the problem with the car) . I have now received the car back today after 8 hours and have to take the car back into the garage to have this common vehicle part fitted. This is completely inefficient and unprofessional.At lunchtime I called the garage to check on my progress with the car, this was due to not receiving any confirmation of a vehicle health check (which I still have not received) the receptionist on the main reception desk was rude and told me that the time was 1240 and that they have plenty of time to have the ready. I stated that I understand the time and that I am concerned that have not yet completed a health check as I have had no messages, and also they will surely have to order party?s yet as well. In hindsight todays service has more than confirmed that I should have called the garage with concerns due to lack communication, and. in essence the car is in the same place it was 10 days ago when I booked the appointment.I am not looking forward to rebook an appointment to get this part fitted and having to take yet another day off work, while they have my car for yet another full day for no longer than 40-50 minutes work.Future lesson, use a different more competent and efficient garage and claim it back on auto care. Maybe then I won?t lose leave from work and have a car for at least half of the day to get around.

I have recently purchased a used car from Arnold Clark (SEAT) Newcastle and would like to thank the whole team for a great experience. I started the journey with a telephone conversation from sales manager Dan Byrne who gave me an overview of the vehicle and a synopsis of a deal he could arrange with my part exchange.I was then directed to one of the sales team Mark Pickering who with professionalism and knowledge guided my wife and I through the process of securing the car and has since, after purchasing the car phoned to ensure all was ok.The car was then prepared for me to collect a few days later.Upon collection the standard of preparation was better than I had expected and for this I thank Mark and the prep team.As I was just leaving I found a fault with the car and went back in to discuss with Mark, he assured me it would get sorted and the next day Laura from the service desk phoned and the car is booked in for the remedial work to be carried out.What a great start as I have only just relocated to the area and have had no history with the businesses in this area.Looking forward to a continued good relationship.Peter

What can I say apart from this branch is an absolute shambles. I bought my car in January and wish I?d not bothered. The car had damage to the rear bumper that had been bodged repaired, scratches all over the interior and exterior paintwork that was downplayed in the video tour. All exterior paint touch ups were taken straight off during a professional valet. After complaining to Andrew in sales I was pretty much fobbed off and forgotten about. I spent months chasing to get things sorted and was ignored until I had to get Dan the manager involved. But even then it still took months to fix, the wing mirror indicator was broken on delivery and I was told it must have been during transit, this on top of a brakes issue and the driver side window getting stuck down so anything could have been stolen from my car. The worst part is Andrew begged for a perfect score on the survey the day after I picked the car up and as I was on holiday, I?d barely driven 5 miles in the car. I gave him a perfect score because he promised to sort the issues out. So he got his commission and that?s all he cared about. I?ve had to spend over £300 to wrap the interior chrome as the scratches were so bad and downplayed in the video. DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT buy a car from Arnold Clark Newcastle. Once you?ve got the car, they don?t care about you.

Purchased a new car at the end of the week.Paul.S was fantastic from start to finish.Very down to earth and not a typical salesman, there was no pushyness or pressure into purchasing.Paul.S even managed to get the car ready a day early for myself due to work commitments and the bank holiday weekend. Much appreciated.Couldn't fault the garage, everyone I spoke to either over phone or in person were all friendly and polite.Will definitely recommend friends and purchase from here again.
