Beautiful setting, excellent warm and attentive staff, absolutely delicious food and drinks. We hadn?t booked so we?re lucky to get a spot as it was evidently popular and deservedly so. Well worth a visit.

I've been to Arlo's twice now and I cannot recommend it highly enough! The service is excellent and although the prices are slightly higher, the food is exceptional. The Turkish egg breakfast with steak is the best thing I've ever eaten for breakfast by a million miles!

Great breakfast (full English), reasonably priced, although it doesn't include tea/coffee. Service was friendly and efficient without being overly intrusive. Very relaxing atmosphere.

We found this gem by accident, tucked up from the high street on a nice parade.
Food, service, ambience (proper Christmas feeling) perfect.
Portion size and quality perfect, no waste here.
We will be back and next time we wil book as we saw alot of people being turned away as it was packed.
Returned for Brunch on a Sunday in June 2025. At 12:15 it was really quiet and relaxed. A very enjoyable meal.

I?ve ordered my son?s birthday cakes here a few times and the bakery is fantastic. Lovely sponge, never dry, great flavour, and reasonably priced for the size. They are now a family go-to.

I have autism so I have sensory issues with my food. The man who served us and took our order was so lovely and made sure most of the stuff in the burger that I didn?t want would go on the side. I didn?t feel judged at all and was very friendly and lovely. So I?d say 10/10 for the accessibility, staff, atmosphere and food! ?

Cost £45 for 2 lunch dishes (a sandwich and a salad) plus 2 coffees which is expensive for what we got. The salad stated it had seared minute steak, chilli and rice noodles which sounds like a hot dish but came stone cold with a deep layer of watery cold liquid in the bottom of the bowl. Both dishes came within minutes so guessing these aren?t prepared fresh either. Waitresses were nice enough and when we explained about the cold steak and noodles she said she would provide feedback but nothing more. Quality of food and pricing extremely poor so all in all a disappointing experience so think twice about visiting here!!

Collecting our daughter to return home after completing her 4 year degree course at Newcastle University, we had to break up our 7 hours up, 6 hours back journey to SW London. Arlo was the perfect stop. Situated in the heart of the lovely, chic, boutique-style set of shops in Jesmond, we had not booked, but despite the large numbers already seated, the manager went out of his way to find us a table for three. The waitress was very friendly, super-efficient, and sorted out our food and drinks in good time despite the busyness. All of our meals (I had the full English breakfast) were excellent and good value for money.
We look forward to returning over the graduation weekend in mid-July.

Went to Arlo for brunch in a Bridal Group. Lucas & he?s excellent team looked after us. Food was excellent, cocktails very good, it?s atmospheric and service outstanding.

Perfectly cooked breakfast with high quality ingredients and interesting flavours. Lots of space inside the restaurant and very friendly service. We have also visited for a late lunch which was just as good. Great portion sizes.
