Visited this store today to pick up an eBay parcel. There was a problem with my details but that didn't deter Wes my service assistant who went out of his way to sort out the problem. This young man is a credit to your store, his customer service was EXCEPTIONAL.

Van (EA71 JUT) parked in middle of single width residential street to do deliveries. Deemed it acceptable and what he needed to do to make a delivery. Apparently delayment to other traffic is not a problem. Calling this out Argos as you need to work out of this is how you'd like to be seen and recognised as a brand.

Enquired about a display sofa on Tues 6th Sept and told it was 50% off at £650 but one other person had already shown an interest in buying it. They had however flown off to Corfu and they had until Fri 9th Sept in which to come and pay for it. Two members of staff said that I would be 2nd in the queue and I gave my contact details. I popped back into the store on Sat 10th Sept and the sofa was still there. I asked if the Corfu lady had been in and was told no she hadn't and the sofa was available if I was still interested. I said that I was but in all honesty due to the display condition of it I felt that £650 was a bit too much. However, I was still interested. The chap whom I spoke to said that from Sun 11th Sept it would be reduced further to £375. That sounded wonderful, so I asked if I could pay there and then or leave a deposit. I was told no as they needed to change it on the system. So, I left with the belief that I was now 1st in the queue and I'd be able to pay and pick it up from Sun 11th. HOWEVER, I was left a very curt voice message later Saturday afternoon saying..."Hi, the sofa has now been sold". I obviously rang back and spoke with the manager, Alex who although apologetic seemed immune to my argument that perhaps it would have been courteous had she or another staff member called me to say that someone was interested in buying the sofa at the £650 price and was I happy to match that? That lack of professionalism obviously meant that any opportunity I had of buying this much needed sofa was blown out of the water!!! Frustrated and angry beyond belief!!!!!!

Absolutely disgusted. Bought a breast pump from here, the box and packaging sealed but once assembling, it was clear to see it had already been used with dried milk and hairs stuck to it. They were out of replacements so ended up with nothing when it was something I was in real need of. Waste of my time and extremely unhappy.

OK for purchases, however for eBay collections they will put your items in the bin on the day the collection window expires - no grace period here. This is the second time they've done this and it's infuriating; why not wait one day extra let alone 2? I imagine it's to put people off using them for eBay collections... and it certainly does.

Ignore the open times on the website because they are not correct.Also don?t even bother trying to call the customer services as the automated service simply tells you to go on their website then hang up on you.Pathetic service.Complete waste of time!!!!

Great store staff always helpful hours are wrong though it's open 8am to 9pm Mon to Fri 830am to 9pm sat and 10am to 4pm sun

The Manager and staff at this store are brilliant. Had to return an item and there was an issue with the return receipt. They took the time and made a huge effort to resolve it, which they did over an above my expectation. Will definitely use this Argos store again. Very efficient staff with proper customer service skills.

Always have what I want and if it's not in stock and they sell the item I want they will get it for me the next day

A lot of stock is not immediately available which defeats the point of a quick Argos shop . Also they aren?t set up for contactless or Apple Pay .

It had what I needed and wasn't busy. Usual Argos shop you look in the catalogue and the number of the item you want and then you can order it electronically.
