Very good prices and good central location. Great atmosphere and even though I never tried the food what was being brought out looked very good. Plenty of space with pool table and music. Great 2-4-1 cocktails. Will visit next time I visit Newcastle

Just had an amazing night in thus place watching Liverpool smash Milan, great atmosphere, excellent service, used the app to order drinks and they cane quickly.
Would highly recommend this venue.

Must download the app to order and order via this app. After waiting half an hour I asked if it had gone through. Unfortunately, no. Had to order again.
Very mediocre quality food; typical British pub food from the chip shop. No vegetables in sight. Ordered BBQ Chicken. There was a vague cheese or bacon sauce on top. Fries and 3 calamari rings (or whatever passed for that).
Edible in itself, but oh so unhealthy. Great Britain, do something about your food culture!
The beer was delicious by the way!
And of course: football, football and more football on 15 screens.

Food was good typical pub grub, The drinks selection on the bottomless brunch menu is amazing!
I've attended many bottomless brunches in Newcastle the cocktails at the Akenside really stood out, they were so good! Highly recommend bottomless brunch, excellent value for money and the service we received was fantastic! 5*

I ordered a pizza at the bar and told the young woman that my table was really dirty and sticky. A quarter hour past until she brought my pizza and a paper napkin to wipe the table. After that, the table was as sticky as before. I went to the bar to ask her to it properly, but ignored me though we faced each other for half a minute. It?s really not nice when you can?t put your phone or your book or anything on the table while you eat. It was Sunday night and not very full. It?s a pity, the pizza was good.
