I love the company and I have had my last 4 hoildays and even my honeymoon with the Thomson Group I will now however be avoiding the Metro Centre Branch of the group in the future after my first and last dealings with this store.Because it its in a main shopping centre the wait to see an available rep can be a long one and since any dealings that may occur with your booking in the future have to be dealt with at store level you will more than likely have a long wait to be seen or called back in regards to your matter.Unfortunately I had a issue with my online booking and in a rush and wanting not to miss the deal I had spent weeks looking for, I went to the Metro Centre Branch. I was assured that the store would match the internet price but on checking my details a week later found that I was over charged by about £100 on the price and had the incorrect room type booked.I made a call to the Metro Centre branch and was assured that the stores manager would call myself by the end of the day in regards to this issue. This sadly did not take place, again I assume due to how busy the store can be. In point of fact I firstly called the Metro Centre Branch to see if an upgrade was possible at such a late date and question the over charge only to be met with avoidance tactics and a complex game of blame in regards to my situation.In short avoid the rush times and be prepared for a under trained after sales customer service experience at this Metro Centre Branch when you need it.
