Wagamama in the Metro Centre is a spot we often visit, and for good reason?it?s consistently excellent. Be prepared for a queue to get in, especially on weekends, but the wait is well worth it.
The food is fantastic, with a great variety to choose from. The ramen dishes are a particular favourite, always full of flavour and perfectly prepared. While the prices are a little on the high side, the quality of the food more than justifies the cost.
The restaurant?s atmosphere is lively, and the service is generally efficient, even during busy times. It?s a reliable choice for a meal out, whether you?re after a quick bite or a relaxed dinner.
Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys fresh, tasty, and well-made food. Just be ready to queue if you?re visiting during peak hours!

Me and my friend visited this evening. Me with coeliac and my friend with a dairy allergy. The process made us feel very at ease and made us feel safe to eat there. Many options for a dairy allergy and a quite a few for gluten free options.
Joe (I think his name was) looked after us and knew the menu very well, but still double checked to make sure nothing had changed.
All round great service and a great place to go with allergies!

I cannot resist going to Wagamamas whenever I'm at the metrocentre. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. They're very thorough when it comes to allergens and have the manager take and deliver the order. There's so much to choose from for being gluten-free. The vegan options also taste incredible - the mushroom skewers are fantastic. I really like how healthy and fresh the food tastes, and this is consistent every time I visit. Definitely recommend! I wish they'd open one in Durham - it would do very well.

The food was delicious. It arrives at different times which we were warned about. However we ordered sides one of which arrived around 30 seconds after placing the order which was suspiciously quick, it still tasted fine. The mains arrived at the same time followed by the second and smaller side which I thought would arrive quicker given the size. Delicious

They repeatedly got our order wrong and we ended up having to spend 1.5 hours there for what was supposed to be a quick meal. The standard is much lower than the other wagamamas I've visited.
