Great place to sit outside for a drink and food on a summer day. Food was decent but the price was good. It took quite a while to get the food brought out. Child and dog friendly. Could have sat there all day and watch the world go by to be fair.

Booked table for 4 but turned away as kitchen closed at 6 yet people sat outside eating. Online says kitchen specifically is open for another 2 and half hours.

There was 5 of us on Sunday 4 th august table 7. 2 of the group ordered steak and ale pie and weren?t impressed. My husband ordered fish and chips. The fish batter was burnt black. How a cook could be comfortable sending it out I can?t comprehend. I wanted to send it back but hubby didn?t want to make a fuss. Will NOT be back.

A lovely place, but under the impression everything is frozen, when asked if I could just have normal chips for my fussy son instead of skin on fries I was told no we don't have them I then said can you not just peel the skin off? "No we can't they are frozen" asked for a bread bun also they came out with 2 slices of rank bread as the buns were frozen and have to be toasted. Bit ridiculous for the price, burger was poor 2 3oz burger in a bun with chips for £13 they need to change their menu its poor, for the burger meal it shouldn't have been more than £9. Makes you think are most other pubs these days just cooking overpriced frozen food
