First £2000 lazyboy recliner lasted less than 3 month before collapsing.3 2 hour attempts to 'repair' it each time lasting 1-2 hours before collapsing again.This is replacement 'loaner' which has lasted 5 weeks.went to recline it and 1 almighty bang and the unit is collapsed.This 'Best you can get' sofa has been made using cheap inferior plywood to hold several strong seatsprings..Obviohsly not quality built anymore.If my 'more expensive' replacement is built the same ill be requiring a refund.

Worst experience buying a carpet I have ever had. It was delivered the wrong colour on multiple occasions. Left us without a bedroom for months. Rang to speak to them about some form of compensation and we were told someone would call us back, and nothing. We tried to cancel the order in the midst of all this and one person even suggested they'd have to come take the underlay up! As if they could refit it somewhere else, spiteful! They don't care, they have our money. Go somewhere else, save yourself the headache.PS - the fitter was great!Update - 2 days off work wasted and offered £30 compensation. They don't even value my time that they wasted at minimum wage. Not even half, not even a quarter. I won't get that time back and it would seem I won't get anything worth my grievance back from ScS. Apparently they don't have a formal complaints procedure! AVOID!Will be referring to furniture and home improvement ombudsman. I would have updated my review to reflect good aftercare but received none. Emailed my details to the lady who posted here and basically had no response

Waited over 5 months for sofas to be delivered. Was advised to pay £100 deposit, however, I paid £800. Due to hospital stay I wasn't sure where I would be living let alone put the new sofas. Called to cancel my order and was offered no refund of deposit. £800 gone just like that. Struggling due of unfortunate circumstances. No after care available at ALL. Very disappointed with SCS.

Absolutely appalling customer service from a manager. Just cheeky and arrogantTelling us what we are looking for can only be found in places like B&M bargains....FYI, I found what I was looking for in Next.But I'll be sure never to browse in SCS again!

We have our carpet ordered here first week of october. We were told in the store that it will be delivered 19 Nov so we said yes to it. But after aggreeing to it, the date has changed on the paper. But we still agreed. Supposed to be delivered today, but got delayed and said will be delivered on december instead. They didnt call us or inform of the delay. Theres plenty of reviews about SCS doing this but I never even bother to read the reviews. If I only read the reviews before buying, I wouldnt have ordered. Believe the reviews and get your carpet from a different store if I were you.

Salesperson Joanne Carr made my visit to choose carpets a most relaxed and informative experience. This lady is a proficient and obviously experienced salesperson to be able to put me at my ease and advised me on the choices available.James, the Flooring Estimator, was also very experienced and explained all about the measuring and planning to fit my chosen carpets.May I commend both of these SCS staff who are a credit to your company.
