This place is truly a hidden gem that my friends introduced me to.
The baklava here is hands down the best I?ve ever had!
Perfect spot for a romantic date, but equally great to hang out with the guys.
The gorgeous sunshine, riverside view, and gentle breeze make it feel like you?re on a little city break or holiday. Highly recommend!

From first walking in the rivers hotel great service so lovely welcome , well what a room should be 5 star rating so clean big massive double bed all usb electric sockets you need brilliant ? even a ironing board and iron hairdryer towels worth the price

Wow, what an amazing stay. The room was super clean, modern, and had a gorgeous river view that made it so special. Loved the location right on the river edge.those views from the room and outside sitting area were just awesome! The restaurant was great, tasty food, and sitting outside by the river was a real treat. Tons of free parking, which was a huge plus. The staff at reception were so friendly and professional, made everything super easy. Honestly, such a great spot between Gateshead and Newcastle. Perfect for families or just to chill. Amazing value for money, I?d definitely recommend it to everyone!

Comfortable bed. Room a little dated. Shower room didn't have any shelves. Toilet was coming off the wall, Toilet roll holder broken. Room was clean but a little dusty and could have been hoovered a little better. But we did enjoy our stay as the bed was very comfortable and the views were amazing, could she the river and melinium bridge.

First time I've stayed here. Only reason I have slightly marked it down is the creaky floor. The fire tvs is a great addition. Will use again.

We live in the apartments next to the hotel and were delighted to see this place reopen. Been to the restaurant for both breakfast and evening meals with fabulous food and service. Get a nice day or night and the outside decking area is a gorgeous place to sit and relax with a beer with views of the river.
Really friendly staff, great location and highly recommended.

Hotel has just reopened again. Still needs a few things sorting but... the room was comfy and the staff were really welcoming and couldnt do enough for you. 24hr desk manned, we had Rob the night staff both nights and was always chatty even at the end of his long night shift.

Perfect location lovely staff the only thing is that I found some stains on the bedsheets. Staff was very helpful and changed everything. Parking was good as well, the restaurant is redecorating and will be open in few days but it looked really nice. I would go there again only for the location ??

The riverside setting here?s pure belter, calm waters flowin?, with lush greenery and open skies above. It?s a peaceful spot where nature meets the city heartbeat, perfect for a quiet walk or just takin? in the fresh air and bird song. Proper peaceful escape right by the Tyne.

Excellent facility?s, beautiful location, Raj one of the staff go above and beyond, I asked if they was any little touches they could do for my partners birthday and they decorated the room, definitely recommend staying here!!

Nestled away from the main roads, this riverside hotel has friendly staff and aim to please.
Establishment recently reopened service was faultless helping me with my disabled needs.
Comfortable bedroom, clean room with ironing facilities and easy to operate shower.
I look forward to returning especially when the
downstairs gets its transformation, new decking for the outside terrace was being built and a drinking and dining room

Overall, can't fault the place. It was thoroughly enjoyable to stay at. Word of warning though, the walls are a little thin and I could hear loud interactions from the room next to mine.

I visited this place in 2020 and instantly loved it. Was looking for a venue for my wedding day and this place caught eye. They where going to incorporate the bus into the wedding which I thought was a fab idea. Had food here and it was amazing. Very nice staff and very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately my wedding didn't go ahead here due to covid and due to rivers hotel closing I would have love it to NEVER got the chance to stay at hotel but from what I saw when shown around the rooms looked stunning and is very very clean hotel and everyone was so nice and due to rivers hotel I hope it opens up again and picks its self back up. Really lovely hotel with stunning views.. Good luck RIVERS hotel
