River Island Metrocentre, I visited the store Sat 2nd Aug and have to say the male staff members who helped me with finding a shirt and trousers for my husband were ever so helpful and friendly. Special kudos to Mohammed who went that extra mile, thank you.

Fantastic customer service when shopping for jeans which I find a nightmare to fit normally. Staff went above and beyond to help me find the most flattering shape . I will definitely be buying more clothes from here in the future .

Came in with my girlfriend at about 6pm on 26/11/24 I was sat outside on the bench waiting for her buy the top and ear muffs that she had chosen, it wasn't until we arrived home that my girlfriend told me that the chubby blonde member of staff had been nasty to her by saying 'are you gonna pay for that! While she was still deciding on the items she wanted. My girlfriend didn't tell me until we arrived back as she knew I would of give the pork pie muncher a piece of my mind. ?. Will definitely not be shopping in there again and neither will our friends.

Ordered a suit and paid for next day delivery on the suggestion of the metro centre staff that served me as I needed quickly, I have now been informed it MAY arrive tomorrow, no garentee!! This purchase was made to try on before the event this week, I have now got to shop elsewhere to have what I need for the event,,If I was told when paying for next day delivery that it's possibly not going to happen I'd of made my purchase else where ,as I've tried to contact the store 8 times via phone with no luck I now have to visit the store to possibly get a response and a full refund.
Promoting next day delivery at my cost is poor service, I won't attempt it again and shop elsewhere.

Visited metro centre store today and a lady called Jen was absolutely fantastic ...helped me pick an outfit for a wedding , she picked quite a few outfits for me to try and I have to say the one I bought I probably wouldn't have picked this myself but on trying it on absolutely loved it ...ALL of the staff at this store are absolutely fabulous ...keep doing what your doing

Visited the River Island store today with my friend doing some Holiday shopping, wanted to find a pair of Sage shoes in my size, A lad named Jack helped me find the size I was after and took interest about the holiday as he was placing my purchase! Said it was only his second day! Well done mate

I havent shopped in River Island for a long time probably years. I have to say the items i looked at seemed to be of poor quality compared to years ago, but still highly priced. However i did still buy some shoes that were right up my street, however was a bit shocked that if you buy shoes here, probably like other large fashion shops, both shoes come off the shelf and no shoe box. I was shocked as everyone is different we are human, whilst some may think £45 is cheap for shoes, im one of those that feels 45 is up there and dont want to spoil them by risk getting them bumped and damaged in a bag. Anyway must say staff were very helpful and got me a box and packed them very professionally. However from the enviromental side if things which is definately more important!!!!.....the less impact on the planet with less waste from packaging and reduced impact from making more packaging in the first place the better for all of us , so yes i do want my shoes to be more protected but our planet is more important.
