I found a property to rent through Rent NE and following my interest I had a video viewing of the property, I decided to proceed and began the process with Jack at Rent NE.From start to finish the process was clear, straightforward and communication was excellent. The property was handed over in excellent condition, with no fuss and no issues, the house was deep cleaned ready to move in.I'd highly recommend Rent NE as an agent to find a property, particularly of high quality.

EDIT: I need to provide a robust response to some of the issues raised in the reply to this review:Firstly, such UK property owner guarantor- only requirements are clearly discriminatory, and have been condemned as such by Shelter, the UK's leading housing charity. They are in fact due to be specifically banned by law in the upcoming Renter's Reform Bill announced in the King's Speech. Claiming they aren't discriminatory shows a refusal to critically think through the effects of such a policy or consider the opinion of expert organisations.Secondly, I notice that RNE have not provided a nondiscriminatory reason for such a policy. Frankly, this is because they can't provide such a reason.Thirdly, I discovered and notified RNE of the mistake we had made on the application before any credit checks had been carried out. In fact, they took the unusual step of asking us to pull our own credit file, meaning our credit check did not cost them anything. RNE told us to proceed with the checks anyway even after I told them of our error. Any claimed loss they suffered was undertaken with full knowledge of our mistake. Their implication that we did this on purpose is, to borrow a phrase, "defamatory and deserves a robust response".Lastly, I'm sure RNE has rented to working class and minority tenants before. The problem is that their policies are designed in such a way that they do so on much less favourable terms.Be very careful approaching this company, read every document with a fine comb and if you don't have connections to British land owners, look elsewhere. You aren't welcome. My partner and I applied for a property with this company. Admittedly, we read the form somewhat quickly and missed one of the terms, which is that they only accept rent guarantees from people who own land in the UK and have double the average annual income (£45k). They won't accept gurantor companies, and you need a gurantor no matter how much money you earn or how good your credit is. I've since confirmed with an experienced local Estate agent that this requirement is basically unheard of.They wanted this even though we earn £70k for a £675 flat and have never missed a rent payment in four years of UK renting.Needless to say, this is a highly unusual clause and as such we weren't looking for it. If they are just concerned about making sure they get their rent, then an institution with millions of pounds behind it that nearly every other landlord accepts would certainly be satisfactory. Requiring prospective tenants specifically and only to have an third individual cosign who owns a UK home and earns double the average UK individual income is pretty unusual, and is narrowly tailored to select for a certain type of person. It's a criterion that few non British people and few kids of working class parents would meet. Everyone who doesn't have wealthy or middle class British parents (or extremely generous rich mates) to cosign for them has to pay all the rent upfront. Obviously that discourages most non British people from even applying. Even if they do apply, requiring huge sums of money upfront when there are widely accepted alternatives available is disparate treatment with no rational basis.Having grown up in the South of the USA, where such covert "grandfather clauses" and "redlining" are common, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.I certainly hope they reconsider this policy, as no matter what their intention is, it has a wildly disproportionate impact on people from minority and disadvantaged backgrounds, even if a few manage to pay all the rent upfront.Other reviews have said the same thing, so hopefully they will take it to heart. As it is, they've gained £150 off of a young immigrant couple working in their country's health service because of this odd clause we didn't see and they didn't point out before I handed over my money. Even though I called the very next day and asked, they're keeping it. I'm over that, we didn't r

I just had a worst experience from ANOTHER letting agent (unresponsive and poor maintenance works). I decided to look for another letting agent that are professional.I chanced upon Rent North East and after reading all the positive reviews from other landlords and tenants and Jack is so responsive in answering my queries, I decided to entrust my property to RNE.The service from Jack and his team is beyond my expectations. Although, the previous letting agent has did a bad job for the maintenance, Jack is very professional and help me to fix it and found a new tenant. Thanks Jack.

Rent north east managed my flat for almost 7 years and I cannot fault the service in that time. Day to day I was confident the tenant was being looked after, repairs sorted swiftly and at reasonable cost and generally things were very hands off for me which was great. A superb management team, thanks all.I therefore trusted Jack and his team when it came to selling the property. It wasn't the easiest of sales but Jack mediated tough situations between parties professionally and I'm delighted to say the flat has now been sold.I would highly recommend this team for property management and sales.

Tried getting a viewing for 3 properties had no contact back at all and each time I have tried contacting them I have had excuses and then found out that they have given others viewings and let the properties out after weeks of waiting. Terrible service.
