Local post office situated inside pound value store which is busy most of day and near local supermarkets such as Farmfoods Aldi and Lidl Very well served by local and regional buses at Wrekenton Hub Also main shopping area for Springwell Estate and Springwell Village which is in the outskirts of the city of Sunderland and the historic Bowes Railway is nearby

As a Business in Wrekenton I use this Post Office weekly for all my Banking needs. The two staff ( Elaine and Julie ) are always pleasant and professional.Throughout this Pandemic they have had a lot of abusive directed towards them as have a lot of retail outlets, but they always maintained a cheery disposition and to be honest if they had not been there during the lockdown my business would have struggled even more.I would like to give a big SHOUT OUT to both girls and thank them for their continued hard work.

I use this Post Office every week and I have to say the staff are extremely helpful and friendly.I have witnessed them getting a lot of abuse from customers which is disgusting. Yet they hold their heads high and keep smiling.Well done girls keep up the good work.

Great Post office. Always welcoming and have what I need. Really helped my business out during covid. Going above and beyond what there job roll was to help. If it wasn't for the way they worked with me I generally feel my shop wouldn't be open today. Thank you all staff at wreckenton Post office

Always been a good post office, staff always friendly - the shop itself is good too with some decent stuff. I would never go any other post office in the Gateshead area apart from here and Jackson Street.

Visit regularly and find Elaine and girls to be friendly, helpful and welcoming. Feel valued as s customer, and when not busy always time for a friendly chat, just what is needed especially after 2020! Thank you girls ? ? ? service appreciated!

It amazes me that the staff here can be so rude. Both myself and my wife have been huffed at and received snappy tones on several visits. Obscene customer service which needs to be looked at. I'm sorry but if you don't offer a specific service I shouldn't need to feel bad for asking where does. This is your job.
