Delicious food with fresh ingredients as and great prices.
Piazza Latina used to be my 'go to' restaurant when I lived locally. I was pleased to find that the food is better than ever and the proprietor just as charming.
The pizzas that we had were excellent and authentic. All the food was excellent but the vegetarian Nachos starter was particularly good.
And unbelievably good value.
Vegetarian options: Nachos / tortilla was spicy And delicious.

We had a lovely inexpensive meal here, well cooked and very tasty.
Service was very good, atmosphere
was nice just a bit quiet.

Lovely pizza, nice thin base good quality topping! Nice potato skins with Garlic dip! Delicious tomato garlic bread. Would recommend.

We love this restaurant - the old ones are the best! Apparently one of the first Italian restaurants in the North East (on a par with Francesca?s and Santana?s in Jesmond for long standing excellent Italian reputation). This traditional Italian restaurant offers more than pizza and pasta - there is something for everyone including delicious mussels, Mexican food, the menu is extensive, so I can?t remember all of the rest. It is friendly and reasonably priced compared to other Italian restaurants. The pizzas were excellent, as was all the food. Don?t forget about it just because it is tucked away upstairs.
