Disgrace ordered online at 12.33am yesterday morning paid for same day delivery and still waiting ..went to shop this morning to see what was happening with delivery was told it would be delivered today timeslot 12.30..2.30 and still waiting cannot get through to them on phone just engaged tone then goes off ..its a bloody disgrace..my son an partner are fumming as don't know if its going to come or not.

Wednesday 20th I placed a next day delivery slot between 8-10am for a food delivery.The next morning I received a text to say it?s running late and won?t be later than 10:46.It got to half 11 and nothing. I rang the shop and the girl on the phone said I?m the next stop so it won?t be too long.Waited until 1:30pm and still nothing.Rang back and was put on hold for 5 mins to be told ?there?s problems with the van? and that the next slot would be 5-7pm that day with no apology.I said that?s fine but I?m leaving the house later so will it definitely be there? The girl said yes.7:45pm and still nothing.I rang the shop and spoke to another girl who said that the delivered are 3 hours delayed due to problems, again with no apology.It?s now a day late and still don?t have my food shopping. I?ve tried ringing the store multiple times but it looks like their phone lines aren?t connecting.I?m quite shocked by how poor the service has been with Iceland and not keeping customers in the loop with what?s happening.Will not be using these again.

What has happened to Iceland deliveries? It used to be really good and never any problems but the last two times have been a disgrace. They didn?t even let me know last time that they weren?t going to deliver my online order and that left me with three hungry kids. However, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and I placed an order this lunchtime for same day delivery. I?ve just had a phone call to say they won?t be delivering it today as one of their drivers phoned in sick, again leaving me without supplies for packed lunches tomorrow. The woman apologised but didn?t offer any solution so now I am having to drive to Iceland in Gateshead to pick up my shopping (which I paid delivery for), disrupting my evening and using my fuel. Absolute disgrace!!!! I WONT be ordering from here again and I?ll be telling others not to either.

Terrible service. There?s never any home deliveries for in store shoppers. Staff and manager are rude when you challenge them about this. They display a sign to let customers know, however, this is hand written on white paper, so it?s hardly noticeable when entering the store, especially for people with limited sight. One staff member was caught rolling her eyes at my Mam when she was getting her money from her purse as the staff member had a wait. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Awful pace!!!

Strange supermarket, seems to be focused on frozen prepared foods. So much so, that just about everything else is an afterthought. It was pretty busy the weekday afternoon I was there, so the checkout line took a while, even though I was only buying cough drops. I suspect there was a better way to get those cough drops somewhere else nearby.

Visited this store once with my wife and some friends wishing to do some shopping, sadly the security guard followed US although the store, I did ask why our group had his undivided attention although the shop, he's reply was as follows you arent regular shopper here, asked why did that matter?? His answer was that he doesn't trust unknown shoppers!!??!!! The fact a member of our group did have a fully closed backpack,so if you're not form the local Gateshead area??? Avoid this poor quality, expensive poor standard chilled food warehouse at all costs!!!

This ok Iceland ! But need upgade on some foods ! Staff are ok ! But they need better security guard he's a whimp ! I was in other day buying freezer foods a bloke was in trying buy bags off sugar ! What an attitude the bloke was 2 memember off staff he had the woman didn't serve him at tills l don't blame her ! But they need a stronger security guard 2 help the staff what a whimp he stood there letting poor lass at tills getting abuse they need sack security guard ASAP before the staff get hurt l feel 4 the staff in that shop having that whimp around to help them they need replace him ASAP what a plonker the security guard in there he needs 2 go sacked how can they have him in there 2 protect the staff it behond me he needs 2 go sacked again nice staff but could do upgade with some cheaper food in and more bargains in getting bit dear prices are going up should have more deals on 4 customers ! But they need sack that security guard ASAP he is a whimp l fear 4 staff in there if they keep him on replace him ASAP he is a whimp !

Very friendly, chatty cashier pointed out they had lots of reduced items which was appreciated.Baskets were a little on the gross side but I was the last customer in so I guess they'd be cleaning them later.
