A great value for money here. Our host was very friendly and good at his job. Breakfast included, which was spot on. The rooms were spacious and spotless, which is all you can ask really. The city is accessible mainly by bus or taxi, so just plan your route if you decide to book. As the experience was very welcoming, I'd absolutely book again!

Good points... The Host Stuart is super friendly, always there to help, nothing is too much for him. the room was spacious and airy, clean and comfortable. breakfast was one of your choices from full English to cereal, all requests were met for us. food was hot and tasty. we will definitely stay there again. Bad points... no hairdryer

We found this hotel hen looking for an affordable option in the Newcastle area. Just a 10 minute taxi away from Newcastle station this hotel was the perfect option! the staff member was very friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and had all amenities. Breakfast was delicious and made fresh to order.

Pros.-Parking was great-Host was fantastic-Breakfast was good, wouldn't put scrambled egg in a microwave though.-Room was fine for its price.Cons.-Very thin curtains, so the blinding street lights get through very easily.-Satanic bed.

Such a lovely place to stay! The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was so good every day. I would definitely recommend this place and 100% will stay again.

Take it at face value. Its clean, the owner works hard and the coffee at breakfast is fab. Not the sort of place you'd take someone for a romantic weekend but it's a place to put your head down.

Basic, clean well situated. Friendly host and a decent breakfast. The finish of the place is maybe a little tired and it could do with thicker curtains on rooms alongside the well lit Durham Road, but it's really cheap and for the price absolutely fine.

The host Steve, made us feel very welcomed. Homely and clean, comfy bed and full English breakfast included in the price. Would like to stay again when we next visit Newcastle.
