No issues when buying the sofa was told 8-week lead time, which was later pushed back a week. I wasn?t told about this delay until just 4 days before the original due date.
Last week, I was told the store would receive my items today and delivery would be Thursday or Friday. Checked tracking this morning to see delivery had been moved to Saturday. Called up and was told only half my furniture had arrived, the rest coming Thursday hence Saturday delivery.
Asked to speak to the store, was put on hold, then told the furniture is currently down south and due to arrive in Washington today or tomorrow. Still, they won?t deliver until Saturday, meaning a 10-week wait in total.
No one seems to know what?s going on, and I still don?t even know if the full order has arrived as being told multiple different things by different staff members. Absolute shambles terrible communication.

This establishment presents a tidy retail environment, staffed by generally pleasant individuals. However, their sales approach is demonstrably pushy, particularly concerning upselling higher-priced furniture and promoting finance options, even when a clear budget has been communicated. While the selection of furniture is decent, prospective buyers should be prepared to firmly reiterate their financial boundaries to avoid undue pressure.

Malcom and Lewis helped us to resolve an issue today. Ended up walking out of store having bought the most amazing sofas! We spoke to quite a few of the staff members, all of them were amazing went above and beyond to help us and make sure we were happy with our choice. Even after a last minute change! Thank you to you all. What an absolute pleasure!

I had a positive experience this evening when I popped in after work to check out a sofa I had been researching online.
I was greeted by a very friendly salesperson called Mark who pieced my purchasing experience together. I left the store very satisfied.

Paul was an excellent member of DFS' team here. We had an idea of what we wanted already and weren't pushed into a different option which was refreshing.
Our options for delivery and payment were all explained as well as sofa are etc.
We even had a chat about our current situation and Paul clearly had empathy to chat about this.
Our sofas were purchased in good time and we are sure to be happy with them when they arrive.

Slow service results in predatory parking charges which despite being customers DFS can?t/won?t revoke charges meaning our sofa has become more expensive than advertised.

DO NOT TAKE OUT INSURANCE FOR SOFAS AT DFS.
They are not worth the paper that they are printed on.
Springs have caused 2 holes on the seating cushions just behind where the back of your knee rests on the cushion.
The shops insurance said that it is not covered because it is structural damage.
It is in a place where very little weight is on it. It's not the centre of the cushion which takes the heaviest load, it is on the edge of the underside of the cushion where the bottom of your hamstrings rest.
A poor excuse of a shop, quick enough to grab your money and sell you worthless insurance.
We've bought a few sofas from DFS and this will be our last.
Photos are of one cushion, but the same has happened to the cushion next to it.

Rude staff. Tried to argue with me about a sofa, very rude. I was looking for a chair and trying to sit down and began having an argument with me and another customer. Don?t know his name. But very rude.

Absolutely disappointed, we have if some issues with one part of our sofa group but even we went to the store and discussed the situation no one called us back, no one care you because they only care to sell the products that?s all I?ve seen so far. Salesperson said the warranty covers most of the things but even if we applied only small part of interior of the sofa, we were told not cover.
Eventually, we talked to one of the manager in the store and explained everything and we?d like to pay for it if you can fix it, they said yes absolutely we will call you back but nothing nothing nothing happened. Thank you first and last time never go back there. Never recommended!

I just want to say a massive thank you to Holly for her customer care even after the sale, Holly was great when helping us to choose our new sofa and talked us through everything even making suggestions based of what we had discussed. Although I'm sure Holly treats all customers like this, what really stood out for us was that the warehouse and delivery team actually sent the wrong edition of one piece of our sofa. I called the customer service team, who helped out. What was then really nice was that Holly got in touch and helped things along and kept us updated, right up until the day before she was on holiday. We can't thank her enough for going above and beyond to keep us reassured and updated. Thanks Holly
