Around christmas time, I went in to purchase an item, only to be told by the employee that it was a recalled product and therefore could not be sold to me. However, I found the situation highly questionable. The item was not listed as recalled online, and after i challenged her, she went behind the counter and appeared to be reading an email on her system. This gave me the impression that the situation was not as she presented it.
To resolve the matter, I contacted your customer service department, who reassured me that the item was not actually recalled. We speculated that the employee might have wanted to purchase the item herself, as it was on sale at a 50% discount. I filed a formal complaint to be escalated to the regional manager (Complaint Reference: 69399429), and I was assured that someone would contact me within three days.
Unfortunately, despite this assurance, I have yet to be contacted by anyone regarding my complaint ( more than 2 and half months now). I followed up with another phone call, but once again, no one reached out to address my concerns. This lack of response and resolution is not only disappointing but also leaves me with the impression that customer complaints are not taken seriously or acted upon by your company.
This incident has led me to question the level of professionalism within Boots, especially given the lack of transparency and follow-up. It also raises concerns about the possible abuse of power, as it seems that official complaint routes are being ignored.

Staff make you feel very uncomfortable from when you step foot in. Felt I had to buy something even when they didn?t have what I was looking for . Security came and stood right next to me staring and made it obvious they were there all the while when I was just looking at products and trying to browse. I understand you need them (rightly so too) but don?t make it so uncomfortable for other customers . Puts me off ever going back in . Thank you

A nice little shop to buy an item quick but there never seems enough staff,very busy pharmacy staff should not have to come off their section to serve customers with non prescription items, they have a very responsible job.

Today I visited the store to purchase a fathers day gift however I had been in the day before and they was a problem with my advantage card, the staff told me to ring a helpline which I was unable to do at the time however I came back the next day and was served by a gentleman named Jay. Jay was very polite & friendly, he took his time to listen to the problem and tried different options to solve it. In the end I was able to purchase the product with a advantage card and received a great discount! Thanks Jay great customer service ?
