Great food and service. Chris was excellent in serving us as a family of 3. Very Busy but nothing was an issue. On a Thursday kids eat for nothing as long as an adult pays for a main meal. Well worth a visit

Food is really good cannot fault it, but the service is amongst the worst in the north east!! 20min wait for a table even though 8/9 tables free, not acknowledged by staff management just stands at the pass ignoring the restaurant, tables sit dirty for 10+ mins at any given time, hot food & coffees passed over kids heads rather than walking to other side of the table. Unless you get your server good luck everyone else ignores you!! This has happened multiple times, will look for alternatives in future

waiter came over with a miserable face, complete ignored my order and only took my friends orders. when i told her she rolled her eyes and walked away. food came, wasn?t worth what we paid. my friends pasta pomodoro with mozzarella and it had a hair in it!!! absolutely disgraceful. we told the same waitress with the miserable face and she didn?t even apologise just walked off with the plate. won?t be coming here again. what a let down ?

We arrived with a baby then the waiter seated us to a high table where we can?t use the high chair so we asked for an other table the table was disgusting, sticky and dirty I cleaned it with baby wipes I really doesn?t wanted to make a scene we were waiting for ages. Then finally someone came and asked if we ordered then take our order. Simply 2 coke without ice and lemon and a tea with lemon. They brought out the two coke with lemons and ice, the tea arrived without spoon and sugar what we asked for we told them that this is not what we asked for.. then they brought out the right drinks after ages. Took our order. Then we noticed how dirty are all the glasses so we asked to cancel our order because we rather leave. Even the cancellation was like ages too. We paid £11 for the dirty drinks they were clearly not drinkable because of the dirt! This was ridiculous!

Very expensive for very little food, we payed £58 for childs pizza which was about 8" garlic bread which was very small not enough to share between 3,very small bowl of meatballs which looked like they came out of a can, and a beef ravioli thing,ok if you like pizza but definitely not anything that represents Italian food

Visited Bella after shopping in the metrocentre. When seated the service was very fast for drinks and they returned promptly to take a food order. The food was hot and tasted delicious! We ordered the goats cheese pasta (definitely getting this again next time) and the nduja pasta with a side of garlic bread and green beans. Everything was spot on, no complaints at all.
The only thing letting it down was after finishing the meal we were left for quite some time asking for the bill. And once given it had to wait a further 20 minutes to pay so we ended up missing our train.

Absolutely fantastic meal and service. Dzeneta served us and was lovely, very respectful and gave us time to enjoy our meal. Would highly recommend Bella Italia, Gateshead. Perfect end to our day.

didn?t put cheese in my cheeseburger, and took forever to come out and was still waiting for food once my family?s came out, juice was so strong and it was £10 just for two drinks
